Summary

• In this round of Stygian Onslaught, Traveler will face the following opponents and mechanics:

Battlefield 1	Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whisperer of Nightmares Advantage: Lunar Reaction DMG
Battlefield 2	Battle-Hardened Fireblade Shock Trooper Advantage: Elemental Reaction Advantage: Elemental Character
Battlefield 3	Emperor of Fire and Iron Advantage: Elemental Character Disadvantage: Elemental Character

• Complete challenge objectives of different difficulties to obtain Primogems, the Artifact material "Dust of Enlightenment", and other rewards.
• Challenge gameplay: You must select a difficulty first. After you enter a challenge, you must complete 3 phases, for a total of 3 time-limited battles. The challenge is considered complete once all opponents in all 3 battles are beaten.
• Difficulty: difficulty levels in ascending order are "Normal," "Advancing," "Hard," "Menacing," "Fearless," and "Dire."
  • The higher the initial difficulty selected, the more restrictive the rules applied during the challenge, and the tougher enemies will be.
  • From the "Hard" difficulty onward, you can only unlock the next difficulty by clearing the current one.
• "Exalted Ones": There can be a maximum of 16 "Exalted Ones" at any one time during the challenge.
  • "Exalted Ones" will obtain buff effects; adding them to your party will help you complete the challenge.
  • There can be a maximum of 16 "Exalted Ones" at any one time during the challenge, and their number is subject to change.
  • Under the "Dire" difficulty, "Exalted Ones" no longer obtain buff effects.
• Disturbance Outbreak: In the first 10 days from when the challenge is available, the Ley Line disturbance will be in an "Outbreak" state.
  • During the Disturbance Outbreak, players with Adventure Rank 45 and above can challenge stages at "Hard" difficulty onwards, and upon completing them, can consume Resin to earn the rewards from their chosen Domains of Blessing, while also accumulating Dire Prestige.
  • Accumulate a certain amount of Dire Prestige to receive extra Artifact rewards and Dust of Enlightenment.
  • After the Disturbance Outbreak ends, players will not be able to consume Resins to claim rewards from their selected Domain of Blessing.
• Completing a more difficult challenge will also let you obtain the rewards from the difficulties below that one.
  • Rewards for "Fearless" and "Dire" difficulties can only be claimed upon completing the single-player challenge.
• Co-Op Mode: All difficulty levels support Co-Op Mode of up to 4 players.
  • "Normal," "Advancing," and "Hard" difficulties support matchmaking or Co-Op Mode within the same world.
  • "Menacing," "Fearless," and "Dire" difficulties only support Co-Op challenges within the same world.

Lv. 40 Battle-Hardened Fireblade Shock Trooper: Normal	reactions | characters While the opponent is preparing to activate Thundering Suite, focus on breaking the triple-layer Experimental Multi-Shield that they deploy, as this will prevent the suite's activation. The Shield will periodically repair itself. Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged DMG are more effective at destroying the Shield. Each layer of the Shield that is destroyed will cause a single instance of massive damage to be dealt to the opponent, while generating additional Elemental Orbs. When Thundering Suite is activated, it will deal Electro DMG over a large AoE and unleash continuous Electro attacks. If you successfully prevent the suite's activation, the opponent's Electro RES will be greatly decreased.
Lv. 40 Emperor of Fire and Iron: Normal	characters, characters While the powerful foe's twin molten horns remain intact, it can unleash fiercer elemental attacks and will possess exceedingly high All Elemental and Physical RES. When unleashing certain attacks, its twin molten horns will stay close to the ground, providing an opportunity to use Elemental Reactions to destroy them. Once the twin molten horns are destroyed, the foe will take a single instance of immense DMG and will be unable to restore them for a period of time.

Affected by the Ley Line disturbance, the powerful foe will enter a lengthy charging state and summon multiple Fishers of Hidden Depths. The Shield will periodically repair itself. Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged DMG are more effective at destroying the Shield. Each layer of the Shield that is destroyed will cause a single instance of massive damage to be dealt to the opponent, while generating additional Elemental Orbs. When Thundering Suite is activated, it will deal Electro DMG over a large AoE and unleash continuous Electro attacks. If you successfully prevent the suite's activation, the opponent's Electro RES will be greatly decreased. Affected by the Ley Line disturbance, the Experimental Multi-Shield increases All RES except Electro, and its self-repairing abilities are boosted. However, after taking Electro-Charged or Lunar-Charged DMG, its rate of self-repair will be greatly reduced. Once activated, the DMG dealt by Thundering Suite, as well as its duration, is greatly increased.
Lv. 105 Emperor of Fire and Iron: Ordained Conquest	characters, characters While the powerful foe's twin molten horns remain intact, it can unleash fiercer elemental attacks and will possess exceedingly high All Elemental and Physical RES. When unleashing certain attacks, its twin molten horns will stay close to the ground, providing an opportunity to use Elemental Reactions to destroy them. Once the twin molten horns are destroyed, the foe will take a single instance of immense DMG and will be unable to restore them for a period of time. Affected by the Ley Line disturbance, the powerful foe will summon Sternshield Crabs to assist during battle. Sternshield Crabs continuously channel Pyro to the twin molten horns. Once their Pyro is exhausted, the Sternshield Crabs will be defeated. Once a Sternshield Crab is defeated, it will lose control and collide with the foe, damaging its twin molten horns and dealing DMG proportional to the DMG it itself has received. Affected by the Ley Line disturbance, the powerful foe will begin to charge during battle, dealing DMG over a large AoE after a short period of time. Destroy the twin molten horns to interrupt its charging.

Dire

Ley Line Disturbance

• A powerful opponent has re-emerged from the Ley Lines, and the battle is sure to be very difficult
• Affected by the Ley Line Disturbance, characters cannot be deployed multiple times
• You have reached the final defensive line of the Domain. The level of disturbance here is at its highest, interfering with even the Exalted Ones and rendering their Eminent Boons ineffective. After completing the current challenge in Single-Player Mode, characters in your party will be granted Eminence or Enduring Eminence based on your performance.
• During the Disturbance Outbreak, you can complete battles to claim special rewards
