- Water Imp's Conjecture
The Traveler and Paimon accepted a commission request to help someone from the Fontaine Fishing Associaion, Delaroche. Arriving there, Delaroche seems worried. She explains that the fishes in Erinnyes all mysteriously vanished recently she wants the Traveler and Paimon to investigate the situation. She also warns them about the local fairytales of Water Imps and she believes that the fishes are all eaten by a Water Imp called Thelxie who took an appearance of a snake-haired woman or a penguin. There are also rumors about a child who walked into the water and went missing because Thelxie's voice luring them. Delaroche warns them to be careful during their investigation.
Arriving in the waters near Erinnyes Forest, the Traveler and Paimon see footsteps nearby. Freminet emerges from the water all of a sudden in his diving helmet, surprising them. Freminet tells them that he is also on a special commission to create a mechanical penguin, who is also called "Thelxie". They tell Freminet about their investigation and after connecting the dots, the "penguin" from the rumors is Freminet's Thelxie who he brought for underwater testing everyday for some time and the fish will be back after he is done with the commission. He also believes the child in the rumors is most likely him getting into the water to dive. The Traveler and Paimon offer to help him with his commission and he brings them to his temporary camp. At the camp, he introduces them to Thelxie who only responds to simple commands and reacts to some keywords as he has no language output module. Freminet invites them to test Thelxie's motherboard. After debugging the motherboard, Freminet takes them to the waters to get colorful shells and coral for Thelxie's weapon.
After returning to the camp, Freminet's employer Zuria Destree is waiting for him and he introduces the Traveler and Paimon as his trustworthy companions to help him with Thelxie. Zuria shares the reason she's commissioning Thelxie is because her son is obsessed with the Water Imps instead of fearing it. Her son believes they are just misunderstood and longing for companions, because of it he would come near the water in secret to make friends with them and crafted a detailed fantasy world of them. Her son is also diagnosed with Loneliness Syndrome when he was 8 years old. Because it is a rare disease, not much can be done and the inflicted will no longer able to differentiate between fantasy and reality. The doctors suggested Zuria to "guide" his fantasy, which is why Zuria is commissioning Freminet and she is also creating a picture book of Thelxie's story. Zuria invites them to go to "Water Imp Kingdom", an underwater ruin in Salacia Plain, an pretend as if they are inside Thelxie's fairytale story. Zuria tells them to meet again in two days.
After Zuria left, Freminet warns them to mentally prepare for Zuria's sake. Freminet takes this seriously because he had seen many cases of it during his stay in House of the Hearth under the previous director. In the worst case, the patient could pass away. Freminet offers them to back out now if they cannot handle that possibility, which they quickly refuse and they are ready to help Zuria and her son. They all plan out for the adventure and shares his own made-up fairytale world of Pers, who came from Penguin Town. Freminet then leaves to get more supplies and reminds them to meet again in two days.
Part II - Prince's Country
- Prince's Country
After two days passed, the Traveler and Paimon meet up with Zuria and Freminet again in his camp. Thelxie also got himself a sword and a shield for the adventure. Zuria wishes to end the adventure with Thelxie's coronation ceremony, so Freminet asks them to help him with Thelxie's crown on the way to the ruins. Before heading out, Zuria draws the first page for Thelxie's picture book. Arriving at the underwater ruins, they all start the adventure with Paimon acting as the Guardian Goddess and the others as companions of Prince Thelxie.
In the Kingdom of Water Imps, the companions of Prince Thelxie come to reclaim the glory he lost. Goddess Paimon, the guardian of the nation blesses them with "rainbow glory" so that Thelxie's future will always be filled with light. The goddess allows them to go forward and fight the monsters who have taken over the kingdom. After defeating the monster and reclaiming the Kingdom of Water Imps, it is time for Prince Thelxie's coronation ceremony. But since the crown is not made yet, Freminet proposes to come back here again after they got the crown.
Returning to the camp, Zuria draws the second page for the picture book and pretended that the monsters ran away with the crown to make up for the unfinished crown. Zuria tells them to meet again in two days and she walks away in high spirits. Freminet wants to visit the city to gets some parts for the crown. After the Traveler and Paimon leaves, Freminet take on his diving helmet and hope everyone who's found themselves in a dark place would be able to see something beautiful, and experience a miracle for themselves.
Part III - Miraculous Crown
- Miraculous Crown
After two days passed, the Traveler and Paimon return to the camp. Freminet tells them the crown is ready but Zuria has not arrived yet. Delaroche appears and she has been worrying about them because she is not receiving their updates. She asked around about the rumors about the boy who went into the waters, who turns out is not Freminet after all. One month ago, several fishermen saw an eight years old boy named Lescot Destree tied a bunch of heavy seashells onto his body and walked into the open water, never to be seen again. His mother was devastated and fell ill, she decided to leave the Court of Fontaine and no one has heard of her ever since. Paimon realizes Zuria is the mother and Lescot is her son. They all head to Zuria's home to check on her.
Arriving at Zuria's residence, they are greeted by her family doctor, Jalacan. He explains that Lescot did have the Loneliness Syndrome. But ever since Lescot passed away, Zuria also fell to the same illness because of her grief and at this point she can no longer differentiate between fantasy and reality. Zuria has been in a good mood in the last few days until last night, when she broke down once more and is currently on sedatives. She proposed a "guidance therapy" to ease the illness, which explains the picture book she made. The doctor fetch the book and gives it to Freminet, who is determined to finish the story for her and give it a happy ending. The Traveler, Paimon, Freminet, and Thelxie return to the underwater ruins to continue the story and "reclaim" the crown from the monsters.
They return to Zuria's home with Thelxie's crown and tell Zuria it is time to attend his coronation. Zuria draws the last page of the picture book as Paimon and Freminet narrated the ending Thelxie's adventure, ending it with Thelxie's mother placing the crown on his head. To the group's surprise, Zuria is seen to be communicating with Thelxie. Freminet tells the Traveler to put on his diving helmet to understand Thelxie. The Traveler realizes Zuria is talking to Lescot. Lescot asks her to sing him a lullaby before he can return to his dream and to the Kingdom of Water Imps in peace. She ensures him that she will never forget him and her love is greater than their distance. They both hug and Lescot wishes her a good night.
Three days later, Freminet tells the Traveler and Paimon that Zuria has returned to the city in high spirits to finish her art exhibition and work with her doctor to exhibit some picture books related to the illness hoping to help others going through the same illness. She also gave the Traveler a copy of the picture book for them to keep. She also tells Freminet about what she experienced three days ago, she was finally able to bid farewell to her son and felt like she was healed by some mystical power. He believes that perhaps fantasy is not just a fantasy and hope that everyone who's found themselves in a dark place would be able to see something beautiful, and experience a miracle for themselves.

Trivia
- Solamenaline, the medicine for Loneliness Syndrome, is supposedly an antidepressant. It is derived from the Latin word "solamen," meaning "solace," "consolation," or "comfort."
- The animation shown during the initial launch of the event menu after completing the quest in part 1 has words in Morse code encoded with an offset of -1 using Caesar cipher. The words are:
- "- ..-. ...- --" > "TFVM" > "SEUL" - translates from French to "alone".
- "... ..-. .-- ..-. ..." > "SFWFS" > "REVER" - translates from French to "dream".
- "-. .--- ... -... -.. -- ..-." > "NJSBDMF" > "MIRACLE".
