Helheim Labs is a top secret research facility of Schicksal and houses numerous mutant test subjects. The laboratory is being guarded by the giant mech, Aesir Heimdall.^[1]

Story

Chapter VIII

While waiting for Lieserl Albert Einstein and Frederica Nikola Tesla to hack into the database and locate Kiana Kaslana, Murata Himeko holds a brief conversation with the people present with her. Tesla informs Himeko that she has found a clue on Kiana's whereabouts — in Helheim Labs. However, due to the massive barrier set up on the labs and limited time, the only viable solution was to deactivate the Honkai powercore to deactivate the barrier. Himeko volunteers to participate in the mission with Tesla.^[2]

When Otto Apocalypse takes notice of the arrival of Theresa Apocalypse and the others, he moves his experiments to the next phase of his plan,^[3] and the Herrscher of the Void awakens and breaches containment.

Battlesuits

Godsbane-Class Battlesuits

These battlesuits are considered the most advanced of Schicksal's battlesuits, and require a specific compatibility with their user. Most were modelled using the Key of Blankness (equipped with the Gem of Haste) as a reference point. Excluding the Key of Blankness, Schicksal owned a total of ten 4th-generation Godsbane battlesuits.^{[citation needed]}

Knight Moonbeam

A prototype 4th generation Godsbane-class Valkyrie battlesuit. Although it had been worn by Kiana Kaslana, it was meant to be an ultimate weapon to be worn only by S-rank Valkyries. High speed gamma particles flowing within the suit are projected from ejection ports at the back, forming glowing shapes that resemble feathers of a wing. The Lightwing Unleashed (Seraph's Wings of Light / SWOL) auto-homing gamma ray attack system is a military-grade ranged attack weapon. This system can rain destruction on 50 targets at once, living up to its Godsbane namesake.^[4]

Blood Knight: Moonlight

One of the objectives for developing Violet Executer is to collect more combat data to manufacture Theresa's personal 4th generation Godsbane battlesuit: Blood Knight: Moonlight.^[5][6]

Shadow Knight

This is a prototype 4th Generation Valkyrie Godsbane-class Battlesuit used by Fu Hua.^[7] Unlike Knight Moonbeam, this battlesuit is designed for pure close-combat in mind and is not outfitted with any ranged weaponry. The outcome is extreme mobility that outstrips the other Godsbane-class battlesuits.^[8]

Vermilion Knight: Eclipse

This mysterious battlesuit kept hidden within the heart of Helheim Labs in Schicksal HQ. When Schicksal unearthed the Key of Blankness, the organization used its technologies to develop next-gen Valkyrie battlesuits. Schicksal managed to acquire the Gem of Haste from the 2nd Honkai Eruption and connected it to the Key of Blankness. The result is the powerful anti-Herrscher weapon: Vermilion Knight: Eclipse.^[9] This battlesuit was worn by Himeko and was lost after the battle against the Herrscher of the Void.^{[citation needed]}

Argent Knight: Artemis

A prototype 4th Generation Valkyrie Godsbane-class Battlesuit, designed specifically for Rita Rossweisse. Artemis represents the terrifying aspect of the moon. The battlesuit embodies the merciless huntress that rains despair and annihilation n the moonlight. It is furnished with a unique particle dispersion system known as Crescent Mode.

Bright Knight: Excelsis

A prototype 4th Generation Godsbane-class Valkyrie Battlesuit used by Durandal;^[10] a self-powered tactical battlesuit developed for the purpose of "dealing with any kind of situation". Helheim Labs planned to integrate the features and functions of multiple 4th Generation Godsbane Battlesuits into one, but this project was shelved for a long period of time due to its massive scale and complexity. The project was finally completed after it was handed over to the Myrkheim Institute and was simplified and modified there. The long hang time of the Knight Moonbeam (Kiana's) battlesuit and the burst assault mode of the Shadow Knight (Fu Hua's) battlesuit have demonstrated different aerial tactics, which have been dynamically combined and incorporated into the lightwing system of Bright Knight: Excelsis. The automatic phantom that fights alongside the Argent Knight (Rita's) battlesuit proves its value in combat.^[11]

Jade Knight

A prototype 4th generation Godsbane battlesuit developed by Helheim Labs, which is also the only speed-enhancing battlesuit based on Shenzhou xiake. As a gift from the former Schicksal Overseer to an old friend, its every detail complements Edge of Taixuan, the sword style its owner Li Sushang practices. It will allow its user to fully unleash their sword's potential, highlighting their airy bodywork and forceful swordplay that embodies the verse "a cloud that veils the moon and a wind that whirls the snow."^[12]

Other Battlesuits

Stalker: Phantom Iron

Stalker: Phantom Iron is an anti-BIO stalker battlesuit developed by Helheim Labs. The battlesuit is designed to augment the Valkyrie's musculoskeletal system and monitors her physios during battle to inject powerful stimulants and neurotransmitters at crucial moments, granting her sudden bursts of power and speed to enhance her combat performance. Phantom Iron's standard weapon is the scythe known as the "Genome Reaper". During combat, this weapon can collect a target's genetic sample and analyze it to adjust battlesuit tactical modules. The most dangerous aspect of the weapon is its ability to create an [Avalanche] toxin based upon the target's genetic sequence.^[13] The battlesuit is also furnished with an autonomous weapon control system that takes on the appearance of a robotic hound known as HD-603 (called and named "Stalker Carbon"). The battlesuit allows the Valkyrie to issue commands to her robot hound using a neural-sync platform to hunt down her prey. When facing multiple adversaries, Stalker Carbon can also release an airborne neurotoxic agent to disable its enemies and break out of the encirclement.^[14]

Weapons

Genome Reaper

Biotechnology developed at Helheim Labs was used to create this anti-BIO system. It serves as a supporting weapon for the Stalker: Phantom Iron battlesuit. During combat, this weapon can collect a target's genetic sample and analyze it to adjust battlesuit tactical models. This system can then create an [Avalanche] toxin based upon the target's genetic sequence. [Avalanche] is finally delivered through wounds ripped open by the weapon's razor-sharp edges.^[13]

Trivia

• The PRI-ARM form of Skadi Ondurgud, Skadi of Thrymheim, is Schicksal's first successful attempt at incorporating the features of a Godsbane battlesuit into its matching weapon. In this case, the features of the battlesuit, "Argent Knight: Artemis" were incorporated into Skadi of Thrymheim.^[15]
