Story
Ahem... Okay, Chopstick Killer, you win this round. Those five chopsticks of yours are all lethal strikes. There's no way I can block them all!
But as a security officer, it is my duty to stop you. Did you know? My father once fought the "Demon of Renege." My grandfather caught the "Little Green Man" and successfully threw them in prison... All the way back to the Canvas Age, my family has protected this planet for centuries.
I'm not telling you this to brag about my noble bloodline. I'm reminding you that this mask allows me to manifest the power of my ancestors. See that ghost on your left? That's my father. The ghost on your right is my grandfather. And behind them, and even further back...

- Ancestral War God is a reference to the combat mechanic called "War God" (Chinese: 战神) in the Chinese Hong Kong manhua series Sea Tiger (Chinese: 海虎) authored by Wan Yat-leung (Chinese: 温日良). "War God" can materialize the memories of the user's beloved persons into combat spirits.
- "War God" was invented by Diyu (Chinese: 地狱 "Hell"), one of the strongest fighters in Sea Tiger II. His variant "Hell War God" (Chinese: 地狱战神) can summon his deceased older brother Zhanshen (Chinese: 战神 "War God"), hence the namesake "War God."
- The five chopsticks of Chopstick Killer is a reference to "Fivefold War Gods" (Chinese: 五重战神) of Bai Cinan (Chinese: 白次男) (literally "junior son of the Bai Family"), the anti-protagonist and final enemy in Sea Tiger III. During the final battle in the comic, Bai Cinan upgraded his "Double War Gods" to "Fivefold War Gods" and summoned five of the strongest deceased fighters in history.
- In the Chinese text, "Ancestors, assemble!" (Chinese: 无尽祖宗，出来！ "Unlimited ancestors, assemble!") is a reference to "Unlimited War Gods" (Chinese: 无尽战神) of Bai Shounan (Chinese: 白首男) (literally "senior son of the Bai Family"), the protagonist and older brother of Bai Cinan in Sea Tiger III. During the final battle in the comic, Bai Shounan's "Quadruple War Gods" were initially at a disadvantage against Bai Cinan's "Fivefold War Gods." Eventually, the memories of Bai Shounan's friends and families evolved into "Unlimited War Gods" and defeated Bai Cinan.
