Certified Banger

Certified Banger is a character-only buff and stat in Honkai: Star Rail, exclusive to characters following the Path of Elation. It allows them to deal additional instances of Elation DMG outside Aha Instants and is used to calculate the damage dealt for those instances.

Description

Certified Banger points typically last for 2 turns, tracked separately. It's possible to view when all of a character's current points are set to expire through their status effect list, and a total is displayed as a special graphic where Talent information typically is.

The primary method of obtaining Certified Banger is through Aha Instants. Following the use of all Elation Skills, the team's Punchline tally is cleared, and all Elation characters in the team gain the corresponding amount of Certified Banger. Additionally, all Elation characters gain 20 Certified Banger points when entering battle, and certain characters can directly grant themselves or others Certified Banger points using their abilities.

If an Elation Character's Certified Banger points are above 0, certain abilities are activated which typically deal additional instances of Elation DMG based on their Certified Banger points.
