Dialogue

(Idle quote)
My darling... My darling...
(First interaction)
You must have seen something else. This is obviously a cycrane, but it looks just like a huge dragon — one that hoards a lair of treasure.
You can almost see wisps of black smoke rising from its non-existent draconic nostrils. At the moment, it is in deep sleep, the flames in its belly rumbling in anticipation.
Beneath its wings and long tail, the package is like jewelry, unrefined gold, precious stones, and finely-crafted works of art piled into a hillock...
Still sleeping, it uses the loot as its priceless implement of slumber. You know very well that a fierce dragon will stick to its treasure for as long as it's alive, unwilling to spend a single dime.
In that moment, you have transformed into a little thief, hoping to steal the real treasure from the vicious dragon — whether it be the antique jewels, or the impenetrable silver armor...
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Take the courier package on the outside first)
Excellent, you have chosen wisely. You know that distant noises won't awaken the dragon from its slumber. You're not greedy, you just care about a realistic chance at triumph.
Removing the treasure farthest away from the dragon, that will be enough to feed and clothe you for the rest of your life.
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Think of a way to take the courier package underneath the dragon)
What a bold thief! Had someone been with you, they would surely stop you from acting so rashly, warning you about how the dragon could take down a whole army and turn a river into steam...
Unfortunately, your treasure operations has no such counsel. You decide to walk alone in the darkness, confronting despair yourself, and climbing the stairs to steal the treasure from beneath the dragon.
Just after you make your decision, the dragon slowly flaps open its wings. The ensuing gust of wind knocks you back two paces, as though it was issuing a final warning.
Immediately after, the dragon flaunts its weakness, exposing its soft white underbelly to taunt you. It has never feared humans. It kills them whenever it wants to, and eat them whenever it feels like it... And none dare stop it.
Once, it even defeated a hero of unparalleled victories. Today, warriors and heroes are like mice compared to the hero. You are nothing but a teeny tiny thief, unworthy for which to raise an eyebrow.
"My scales are like plates of armor, and my claws are like razor-sharp halberds. Little thief hiding in the shadows, you're playing with fire. I could bring you your eternal sleep with a sneeze."
This is terrifying, and you tense your nerves at the thought of all these menacing lines the dragon could spew on you.
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Let's get the job done)
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Let's roll for a Spot Hidden check)
Successful. The dragon remains sleeping on its treasure, as if it hasn't sensed your approach. You also notice some potentially noisy obstacles in your path, and should be able to avoid them.
The successful Spot Hidden check boosts your confidence, making you quietly move one step closer to your target.
Icon Dialogue Exit (Leave before the dragon wakes up)
Looks like you're experienced enough to know that countless greedy people throughout the ages have tried to steal from this cave... And their stories all have tragic endings, without exception.
Unless, you believe you're different...
(Exit dialogue)
You identify the gap in the dragon's movements, and stretch your hand out into the treasure glimmering with ruby light. You know that once it wakes up, it will be enraged, encircling high as it flies and leaving you with no place to hide.
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Make a fast move with noise)
Just shoot for it fast enough, and you'll always have a chance to get out of harm's way... You're confident in your agility, and you'll put all of your past training into this. You've stolen things countless times before.
...No, this chest is heavier than it looks. If you knew how heavy it was going to be, you would've braced your back and lifted from the legs, but you had no such chance.
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Strive for a slow but assured success)
If you had enough time, you could slowly take away all the surrounding treasure even under the dragon's nose. Be patient, time is still your friend.
...However, this chest is heavier than it looks. The more effort you put into dampening the sounds of movement, the more exhausted you become — and you'll soon lose your grip. Darn it, what is in this chest!?
Icon Dialogue Arrow (You're overwhelmed and launch the first attack on the dragon)
Rather than being scared, it's better to just strike first. You've always been a rampaging berserker, and it'd be a disgrace to position yourself as a dextrous [sic] rogue. Bring it — just defeat the dragon, and all the treasure is yours.
Icon Dialogue Exit (Leave before the dragon wakes up)
You understand the warning and your sudden visit should end here. You are convinced it's only feigning asleep and lying in wait for that moment to pounce on you and annihilate you with a rapid sweep of its fulminous tail.
You should leave, unless you believe you're different...
(Exit dialogue)
Just as you're about to strike, this courier cycrane drops straight out of the sky.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Ouch!
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Oh kind sir... It's you. Please help me up... thanks.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Are you calling me?
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Yes, who else is around here besides you, you, and you?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Spare me!
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Wh—Wh—Why are you talking like that... Did I do something wrong?
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": My memory is full, and the system is a little... s—s—slow...
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Fix me, Ple—e—ease...
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": I'll r—r—reward you...
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'll fix you up right now.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Thank you, q—q—quick...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Do you think I'll fix you because you asked?
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": H—help...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Are you sure you're not gonna swallow me?
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": I d—don't understand. Insuffiicient computational power. What are you s—s—saying? H—h—help me...

(Second interaction)
(Abacus Circuitry puzzle)
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Great. Thanks to you, my speech flows better now without stuttering out all the time.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Ah, I got too greedy. I don't believe in streaming online media. If I find an immersia I like, I have to download it myself. Even if I don't end up watching it, I must download it.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": As a result... Well, as you can see, my memory was too full and I crashed. If it weren't for you, I might be a piece of scrap on the roadside. You're such a kind person.
Icon Dialogue Talk What did you download?
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": That's a great question. Perhaps we have the same hobbies.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": I kept the original, backup, collectors' edition, and remastered versions for each Butterfly Immersia on the Millennium Top Ten list... And pretty much anything else that gets rated highly.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": But they're all so memory-hungry that they don't leave any space for my firmware to run...
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Oh shoot! Did everything just get deleted during the reparation? Gah!
Icon Dialogue Return You can download them all again.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Download someone else's filthy copy, instead of my own collector's version? Ugh...
Icon Dialogue Return There's no other way...
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": You're right. I'm going to find someone to help me expand my memory. I want all the immersias of the Xianzhou Luofu... No, I want all the entertainment that has ever existed in the whole cosmos stored in my memory!
Icon Dialogue Talk What are you doing with all these courier packages?
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Ack, these things? They're just courier packages with unknown addresses...
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": I'm not sure who stacked them all here, but it has nothing to do with me.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": Did you think I just kept all these for my own? I do have work ethics, you know.
Icon Dialogue Arrow You should get back to Heron Express.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": I've been planning on doing just that. I have to find some of the techs from Heron Express to expand my memory. I can't even fit the top 100 anymore, and that's how little memory I have!
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": If you were sent here to retrieve me, relax — I'm going back soon.
Cycrane with the Moniker "Evil Dragon": You really are a well-meaning person. Here's a gift from yours truly, keep it. Farewell!
