Damionis is an NPC on Amphoreus, located in "Eternal Holy City" Okhema and Beyond Time: An Eternal Page.
Profile
Damionis is a local inhabitant of Okhema. Unlike many other inhabitants, he was curious about the world beyond the sky and would often try to convince others to assist in his endeavors to no avail.
While exploring Okhema, the Trailblazer and Dan Heng ran into Damionis. The two were trying to take pictures for March 7th, who was unable to attend due to being sick, and he offered to help. The presence of the camera caused him to realize that there was civilization beyond the skies, and he quickly spread news about the "Rosy Celestial Maiden" into the local feed. They managed to track him down as he was being chased by several guards, where he attempted to jump off a platform to gain wings and touch the sky. In order to save his life, the Trailblazer confessed that they were from beyond the sky, distracting him momentarily to allow the guards to apprehend him.
The act did not go unpunished, as the Trailblazer ended up breaking their promise to Aglaea and were interrogated by her (though she did this in order to strengthen their bonds with the other Chrysos Heirs). Due to being responsible for the incident, Aglaea confronted him sometime afterwards, and he vowed not to look into the world beyond the sky again, knowing well of the consequences that would happen if he did so.
While looking into Castrum Kremnos, the Trailblazer and Castorice would find him in Okhema, where he was working on a scene. He apologized to the Trailblazer for his actions, and when asked about Castrum Kremnos, managed to find a picture of it after rummaging his bag. He had taken the photo after being invited to the city as part of the final days of the Chrysos Wars, but felt something was wrong and left after taking the photo.
After Nikador's death, Damionis approached the Trailblazer again, revealing that he had found an underground palace beneath an ancient hypogeum, believing that it had many treasures of value hidden inside them. The Trailblazer agreed to help, and they delved into the palace's depths, but Damionis was forced to pull back. The Trailblazer ultimately broke through the seals and with his urging, returned and found an engraved chest that contained the legacy of the Sabanians, who had been wiped out by the Black Tide. The Trailblazer returned with the items and showed it to him, where he realized that good times did not last and was reminded of the people working against the Black Tide. He let the Trailblazer keep the relics, believing they would be more useful in the future.
