- City Vagrant: We may be pretty down'n'out, but we still need to have a sense of ceremony, y'know.
- City Vagrant: Don't judge us by what we look like now. The Dreamflux Gang used to be the guardians of this street... There were loads of citizens in Dreamflux Reef back then, so we responded to the call of the Watchmaker n' formed a gang on our own to protect the freedom of Dreamflux Reef.
- City Vagrant: Our gang was made up of convicts who had been exiled by the dream world. But the Watchmaker accepted us and helped us find jobs to make a living...
- City Vagrant: Thanks to him, some people opened bakeries, some became waiters, and I became a self-defense teacher... Hah, but look at me now, I ain't worthy to call myself a teacher no more.
- City Vagrant: But the dream corrosion of Dreamflux Reef got worse by the day... Our short-lived happiness gradually transformed into empty bubbles. Then, the Watchmaker... Well, everyone started leavin' as Dreamflux Reef started to fall apart.
