Fire Rejectors

When the wailing wandered across the scorched earth, a passing man, moved by pity, saved a dying infant girl. She grew up amidst the calamitous flames that engulfed the land, and found her direction through the deaths of countless heroes. She wanted to reach them, to become them, to guard the smiles that should exist beneath the radiance of moon and fire.
The girl left home, no longer naive, no longer weak. Swift and merciless, she brought death to the Legion, and ruin to those who had ravaged the earth. She was the cruelest specter on the battlefield, yet before her comrades, she laughed as bright and clear as the wind chimes. Later, the girl donned a mask and rushed to the final battlefield against the Demons From Beyond. And then... and then...
The ashes scattered on the wind, and nothing of those before remained.
