I'm just a regular urban wanderer in Penacony. Tired of the monotony during my travels, I decided to capture my nomadic life through writing and photography, offering you a glimpse of Penacony's more unconventional sides. I hope my work brings joy to all you readers. (PS: If this receives over 100,000 likes, I'll release the next issue.)
Dreamflux Reef
Believe it or not, there was a time when I stumbled upon a captivating meme in an alley. Just as I was about to reach out and touch hit, darkness engnulfed me, and when I regained consciousness, I found myself in the Dreamflux Reef. Once tainted and deemed a "Nightmare" by the meddling of The Family, this place has now transformed from a Primordial Dreamscape into a forsaken and deserted ghost town through their machinations. Despite its dilapidated state, worn down by the corrosive power of nightmares, vestiges of life still linger.
The Towering Clockie
The Narrow Alley leads to the vibrant heart of the Dreamflux Reef. At the end of this alley stands the pride landmark of the street: a towering Clockie. Engulfed by the eerie atmosphere, even the endearing Clockie manages to send shivers down one's spine. Wait... did my television just move? There's an elevator nearby. Time to make a swift exit.
Memoria Singularity
Ever since settling in the Dreamflux Reef, I often find myself seated beside the trashcan on the rooftop of Bygoneville, contemplating life while gazing at the Memoria Singularity. This structure, reminiscent of a black hole, is born from the loss of memoria, greedily consuming this already decaying world. However, the realization that such a magnificent spectacle cannot be appreciated even in the Golden Hour. makes me feel fortune.
The Starry Sky of the Dreamflux Reef
There's something intriguing I noticed when looked up. The sky above the Dreamflux Reef lacks real stars. Instead, the lights from the twelve dreamscapes intertwine, creating a starry sky. It turns out that the inhabitants of this place spend their days inverted. Truly, enjoying a life of luxury comes at a price...
Street Performances
Despite the usual tranquillity of this place, street performances breathe life into the atmosphere. There's a remarkably talented lady who often sings on the streets of Bygoneville. I find myself taking a break and sitting on a chair by the roadside, captivated by her enchanting performance. Can you believe it? You can actually sit here! By the way, I've heard that even the origami birds pause to listen to her beautiful voice. I wonder how it compares to the singing of Robin?
Spheroid
While transportation needs are limited in the Dreamflux Reef, there are certain areas that are inaccessible on foot. That's when the reliable Spheroid comes to the rescue. However, it seems like these vehicles are neglected and in dire need of maintenance. They move slowly, the lights are dim, and the driver's seat is always empty... I can only recommend trying them out if you're as fearless as I am.
Monument of the Nameless
If you were to ask me about something unforgettable in the Dreamflex Reef, it would be the Monument of the Nameless in Timesplit Square. The names of the heroes are engraved on small stones, barely recognizable. According to the locals, this is where the Watchmaker laid the foundation for sweet dreams and safeguarded the secrets of the dreamscape's inception.
The Distant Grand Theater
Gazing into the distance from Timesplit Square, you'll catch sight of the radiant glow emanating from the Penacony Grand Theater. The Charmony Festival is about to commence, and I'm truly eager to witness the extraordinary performances that will grace its stages.
Now, let us venture to the pre-competition audition venue for the Charmony Festival, in the Moment of Scorchsand. This is a feast for challengers and a grand celebration for dreamchasers, attracting attention from across the universe.
With the Charmony Festival just around the corner, if you desire to witness the awe-inspiring performances of diverse contestants up close, hurry and come learn more! Otherwise, you might miss out on securing a prime spot!
SoulGlad™ Scorchsand Audition Venue
Audition Plaza
Welcome to Audition Plaza, the starting point of the auditions and a gathering place for participants. Ambitious individuals gather here to exchange experiences, and you'll also find many media types lingering around.
Take a look at those screens. The atmosphere they create is truly inspiring! Ah, now I understand why they stir the hearts of the participants!
Audition Shuttle
As you make your way through the corridor, you'll reach the Audition Shuttle stop. Hop on the Audition Shuttle and journey through dreamscapes to reach your designated challenge arena!
Rumor has it that within different challenges arenas, the "Mr. Soda and His Secrets" remain hidden.
Unlocking these secrets and adjusting the mechanisms in the Spheroid map to specific states will reveal hidden challenges along the way!
Dreamplay Fantasia
Welcome to the original challenge arena: Dreamplay Fantasia! Here, you have the option to impress the judges with your acting skills or a showcase of your martial might! Each arena presents three challenging tasks, so proceed with caution. Only by conquering all of them can you advance to the next stage!
Gunfire Time
In this scene, you can take on the challenge of playing Clockie, repairing the colossal Dream Ticker, or facing more formidable enemies as Brother Hanu.
Once you successfully complete these challenges, you can move on to the next stage! How does it feel? Is your excitement growing even stronger?
But why is there a Dream Ticker for the time trial? I hope it's not a copyright issue!
Superstar Showdown
Impressive! Completing the first two stages showcases your exceptional skills. Now, brace yourself for the Superstar Showdown, where your combat prowess will be put to the test to determine if you possess the strength befitting a "Festive Superstar"!
Here, you will face challenges posed by the strongest former participants. Don't be afraid. I believe in you!
Final Chapter — Path of the Superstar
After overcoming numerous challenges, you have finally arrived at the magnificent Path of the Superstar!
Let the giant SoulGlad bottles spray for you, let the audience cheer for you, let the starlight illuminate your path!
