Izol is a doctor that runs a clinic specialized in treating imagenae, and his clinic became popular among those looking for quality services at low prices.

One of the doctors in his clinic was the Millennium Killer, Bartoli Miranda. When her identity was revealed to the public, Izol's business took a huge hit, with his patients leaving him and being issued a huge fine from the Department of Aberration Defense. He was somehow able to keep his business afloat and remarked that he was responsible for his inaction towards her.

Izol: *sigh* ...I got a lawyer named Umbralle to help mediate and ended up paying a ton of money in fines, but at least I managed to keep the clinic and my job.

Do imagenae go through the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death too?

Izol: Of course. Although imagenae are born from human imagination, they're still living beings, and like all life, they can't escape the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death.

Izol: However, since the bodies of imagenae are made of Wishpower, their illnesses are naturally quite different from those of organic life forms.

Izol: While organic life forms' diseases often stem from biological factors, metabolic issues, immune problems, and so on, the diseases of imagenae typically originate from imbalances in their Wishpower itself.

Izol: For example, there's a condition called Malignant Pygmalion Syndrome.

Izol: In simple terms, the imagenae becomes obsessively infatuated with their creator, demanding unconditional love and complete devotion of their affection. In extreme cases, this can even lead to the imagenae killing their own creator.

Izol: The essence of this condition is a primitive worship-like emotion that creations feel towards their creator. And if this emotion cannot be counteracted and properly managed, it will lead to extremes.

Izol: From this example, you can see that common diseases among the imagenae are actually more similar to psychological and mental disorders found in organic life forms.

Izol: But the difference is, you won't grow extra uncontrollable limbs due to thought disorder, while for the imagenae, that's actually a pretty common symptom.

How do you treat a sick imagenae?

Izol: Hmm... for that matter, if we're talking technical terms here, it's not something I can sum up in a few sentences. I mean, I spent nearly a decade in medical school before opening my clinic, after all.

Izol: "Anti-narrative Intervention," "Logic Refactoring," "Reverse Memetic Transcription," "Empathy Matrix"... Just explaining these technical terms alone would take me seven days and nights.

Izol: To put it in simple, imprecise terms, what we imagenae doctors do isn't all that different from what artists do. The only difference is that they're the ones who paint, while we're the ones who touch up the painting.

Izol: Restoring aged and deteriorated artworks, fixing the original artist's mistakes, piecing together fragmented paintings, separating stuck canvases... Essentially, that's what the job is about.
