Mok Tok

Mok Tok is a mission-exclusive NPC and the secondary antagonist of Trailblaze Continuance chapter Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue (I).

Profile

Mok Tok is a member of the Rhinohound Pack. Following the Borisin Empire's decline, Mok Tok and his pack forgot the old ways set down by Duran until a prophet called "Mangas" guided them to free the former Warhead Hoolay. He was also aware of Feixiao's status as a former war slave, who used the borisin's powers to escape. With assistance from the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus and Vidyadhara dissidents, Mok Tok and his pack were able to secure medicine to disguise them as foxians, acquire legitimate identities and the layout of The Shackling Prison, allowing them to pinpoint and free Hoolay. Hoolay ordered Jiaoqiu taken prisoner and later tried to order him killed when they were about to escape, but when the foxian mentioned Jingliu, Hoolay changed his mind, much to Mok Tok's confusion.

Out on the Xianzhou Luofu, Mok Tok was still suspicious of Jiaoqiu's motives, who tried to cause some discord between the borisin. Mok Tok admitted to Hoolay about his reasoning to save him, which Hoolay found absurd and decided he would take control of the remaining pack himself. Hoolay ultimately decided to go to war, shocking Mok Tok as they had no packs nearby to attack the Luofu. However, Hoolay had a special plague that allowed him to turn foxians into borisin to make his own pack, and Mok Tok participated in the massacre that followed. The attack was stopped by Feixiao, who used her powers to stop the rampage from spreading. Mok Tok was able to survive the attack, though he would be quickly discovered by Moze and the Trailblazer who wanted to look for survivors to get intelligence off of. Mok Tok realized in the aftermath that Hoolay was interested in Feixiao for good reason and that the children of Duran had fallen from wolves to rats. Declaring the borisin resurgence at hand, Mok Tok chose to fight to the death and perished after his battle against the two.
