Phedes

Phedes, referred to as just Young Guard, is an NPC on Amphoreus, located in "Demigod Council" Dawncloud, appearing after completing Adventure Mission In the Name of Kephale. He also appears in Beyond Time: An Eternal Page.

Profile

Phedes was the son of a holy city guardsman, who used to use a voice amplifier to impersonate Kephale whilst Phedes prayed. Phedes only found out about the deception when his father passed away, as the Kephale he normally prayed to failed to answer.

During the events of the Adventure Mission In the Name of Kephale, he helps the Trailblazer trick Serena into believing Kephale was talking to her, calming her worries for a time. When confronted, he admits to the deception, explaining what his father used to do to the Trailblazer.

Before the events of Adventure Mission Bad Kid, Good Gift, Phedes and a group of other holy city guards were deployed to Dawncloud's inner sanctums to fight the black tide, where Phedes met his end. His body was later discovered by the Trailblazer, who had been trying to seek him out to quell the worries of two kids Serena was trying to calm. Trailblazer later used the voice amplifier to copy Phedes, impersonating Kephale for Yason and Lathena.
