- Sudscour: We meet again, kid. Your old friend here can't help you much. But if you like hearing stories from the bygone days, there's a couple I remember, if you'd be interested?
Let's have a game of Cosmicon Collective!

I love listening to old stories!
- Sudscour: Ah, then let me first tell you stories about the Moonshade Lake. It was so very long ago, yet I can still hear the waves lapping.
- Sudscour: Oh... me and my bad memory. I forgot to mention that Moonshade Lake is my homeland, the birthplace of us kappas.
- Sudscour: Now that was a real impressive lake! On clear days, the blue sky would reflect off the lake's surface so you couldn't tell the borders between the skies and the waters. The hot springs here are nothing compared to Moonshade Lake.
- Sudscour: The kappas lived by the lake for generations, tending rice paddies and maintaining irrigation systems for humans. In return, humans considered us their companions and shared their Wishpower with us.
- Sudscour: Those years living in mutual dependence with humans eventually transformed the kappas into one of the most prosperous branches of the imagenae. At our peak, where there was water in Ahatopia, there were sure to be kappas.
- Sudscour: That was until flames ignited the horizons of the sky, and the Demons From Beyond extended their claws toward Moonshade Lake.
- Sudscour: Rice paddies, dams, even entire lakes... They all evaporated. And with them went countless of my kin.
- Sudscour: Those were days I wish not to remember. During the most unbearable times, I'd crack terrible jokes to encourage the tribe.
- Sudscour: "When the world gets tough, the tough must laugh! After all, our lives are like the moon's reflection in a puddle, fragile enough to shatter at a touch, but we shine bright even before we break!" As they laughed, artillery fire drowned out every sound.
- Sudscour: Even I was about to give in to hopelessness by the end. And that was when that honorable soul with red hair appeared...
- Sudscour: The memories after that are disconnected... Also, all this talking has made me quite tired... Let's pick this up next time. I might remember more and continue the rest of the story then.
I'm a bit busy right now. Next time, okay?
- Sudscour: Go on and do what you need to do. I will always be right here.
