Interactions and Listenables

The boundary between the World in Canvas and reality. From here, the imagenae bid farewell to the mortal world and retreat into the canvas. After sorting through centuries of experiences and stories, they settle all worldly ties.

Inkford Hermitage is an area in Planarcadia, unlocked during Trailblaze Mission Best Farewell to the World in the chapter The Lethe Below the Living.

"Myriad Wish Grove"

Many imagenae are born in Planarcadia every day. But just as many ancient lineages of imagenae hide themselves away in the World in Canvas once their Wishpower dry up, or as they grow weary of the mortal realm.

This is the final stop before they go into the World in Canvas, and this is where they bid farewell to reality. They rest here, organize memories spanning centuries, and then pass beyond the point of no return.

Blue Maw

Beneath the Blue Maw lurks Ahatopia's buried secret, an ancient Leviathan that seeks to devour all, forever insatiable.

Even from a distance, a chill runs down your spine as you look at it. This has nothing to do with courage. It is pure instinct.

Dock

This is the snowy shore of the canvas world, "Inkford Hermitage." Situated at the end of a Dovebrook tributary that ultimately flows into the sea, it is one of the places where the boundary between reality and the World in Canvas is at its faintest.

From the dock lookout, wispae drift across the water like river lamps, gathering in flickering clusters. Rumors claim that the soul of Graphia appears from time to time to guide weary imagenae away from the mortal realm.

Forest of Broken Blades

A master craftsman once planted rusted broken swords across that wasteland. He raised one wordless monument after another, intending them as tokens of remembrance.

Gradually, those planted blades forged by the craftsman became a forest of remembrance. As for the sword of the craftsman himself, none can say when it will finally be buried within that sea of blades...

Meadow on the Distant Shore

Meadow on the Distant Shore, situated on the dark side of the Phantasmoon. This wasteland was painted by Graphia's own hand, using Blade's past as the pigment for the canvas. Your own past shall be taken as the fare for this crossing, serving as the very ink to map the course toward the far shore.

This wasteland was born from a forgotten island in Insumousu. Bleak and desolate, it serves as the ultimate resting place for lost souls.

Sacred Tree (Distant View)

The giant golden tree in the distance is called the Myriad Wish Grove. It is said to share the same lineage as the sacred trees found in the Seafeld Floating Islands and the Phantasmoon Courtyard.

It is said that before entering the canvas, the imagenae go there to return their wishes and travel light.

Wispae Dweller

Wispae dwelling on the "Myriad Wish Grove." They might be remnants of a passed imagenae, or the lingering embodiment of their unforgotten obsession.

A ferry that emerges from the canvas. Though its appearance is unremarkable, it can traverse between two worlds under the command of Graphia.

Miscellaneous

(Near a magazine shelf, north-east of Inkford Hermitage Hotel): Investigate; Ancient Benzaitengoku vanished a thousand years ago, and the splendor of its former estates has long been forgotten. Once the IPC established its presence here, they constructed this luxury hotel.; A stack of Hotel Guest Guidelines sits prominently on the magazine rack, its appearance strongly suggesting some kind of urban legend rulebook. However, since every guest in this hotel is an imagenae of significant influence, extra caution would not hurt.

(Near a magazine shelf, north of Inkford Hermitage Hotel): Investigate; "Bathing Guidelines" Article 1: Please change into a bathrobe before entering the bath! (Mechatrons are excluded); A quick glance at the shelf reveals that it is packed with superficial self-help titles such as Returning to the World in Canvas, Fear Not the Future, Regret Not the Past, and Everything Is the Best Arrangement. It is all a collection of shallow inspirational platitudes.

(Near the eastern pool, north of Inkford Hermitage Hotel): Investigate; Legend says that the hot spring water here can cleanse the mind of all worldly clutter. Yet after pondering for the longest time, you still cannot imagine what kind of stray thoughts these emotis could possibly have.

(Near the western pool, north of Inkford Hermitage Hotel): Investigate; It is rumored that the pool water here is treated with a special bathing formula that provides cleaning, dehumidification, rust removal, rust prevention, maintenance, and lubrication. This makes it particularly popular among the mechatrons.

(Near a group of snowmen, east of Graphia Store Street): Investigate; The snowmen sitting on the flower bed are quite common. However, the decorative lights nearby seem rather unique. You lean in for a closer look and, as expected, discover a small line of text on the back: "Interastral Peace Entertainment HQ Limited Edition."

(Near a group of snowmen, east of Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Devour): Investigate; These are supposedly the works of the hotel guests, appearing in all sorts of bizarre shapes and forms. It seems that these imagenae, who are so determined to encanvas, still have plenty of leisure to spare.
