Mission DescriptionIt is said that the relic appraiser Miner's Lamp Balaway suddenly reappeared recently. Go to Boulder Town to find out what happened to him.
Hey, I heard you've started back up again?- Balaway: Shh — quiet! Who told you that?
Why did you start doing appraisals again?
- Balaway: I'm just meeting the demands of the market. Someone needs to appraise all those treasures being dug up out from the ancient ruins. Why not me?
- Why so mysterious about everything though?
- Balaway: Because I, Balaway, have a reputation to protect here. Getting back into this line of business isn't anything you want publicly known, otherwise I'll be up to my neck in it — again.
- Balaway: I wont' mince words with you: if you bring me something that isn't from the ancient ruins, I won't be interested.
- What's up with the ancient ruins?
- Balaway: Haven't you heard? When the mineral deposits were being prospected, a huge underground ruin was also dug up.
- Balaway: It's likely Old World architecture and has plenty of relics buried in it. Loads of relic hunters went there.
- Why haven't you gone down yourself?
- Balaway: That's not for me. I can just have other people bring me relics for a nice appraisal fee. Isn't that much safer than doing it myself?
- Are there really ancient relics to be found there?
- Balaway: Of course. In the past week alone I've seen more treasure than the entire past year!
- Balaway: I'm ethically bound to advise you: Some people who go into those ruins never come back out, and some who bring me relics to appraise are covered head-to-toe in wounds.
- Balaway: If you're still keen, head to the Great Mine and take a look. And if you find anything worth keeping, bring it over to me. Everything's negotiable!

- Step DescriptionIt is rumored that there are ancient ruins with buried treasures in Belobog. Go to the Great Mine to get some clues about the ruins.

- Aksay: Hmm, now this is a real pickle...
- What's wrong?
- Aksay: Mind your own business... Hang on — judging by your outfit, you must be one of them outsiders, right? What's up? Have you come looking for treasure, too?
- Aksay: Then you are gonna be disappointed. There's hardly any relics left anymore on the surface of the ruins.
- Aksay: Those greedy rookies don't understand the true value of a relic. They just flog them off for cheap on the black market. Sigh, what a waste!
- Aren't you a relic hunter yourself?
- Aksay: 'Course I am — but I'm not like your average joe. I've got more than five years of experience in relic-hunting. They call me: Mr. Senior Treasure Hunter.
- What makes you so different from the others?
- Aksay: Practice makes perfect. You'll get the hang of it after putting in lots of hours.
- Aksay: I can find and excavate the most precious relics in the most efficient way, and I can grasp opportunities that other relic hunters often overlook.
- Is five years all it takes to be considered a senior?
- Aksay: Of course. This line of work is too risky. You're always running off to a snowstorm outside Belobog or sneaking into perilous ruins. Sometimes you even have to find ways to sell off a relic out of the Underworld...
- Aksay: You try going up against freezing cold, booby traps, monsters, and the watertight control of the Silvermane Guards — getting through two years is already an incredible effort.
- Aksay: A veteran like me with five whole years of experience is certainly worthy of the title "Senior Treasure Hunter."
- Aksay: Take this current situation for example. Them rookies will just quit once they can't find any relics, but little do they know that there's a deeper enigma hidden beneath the ruins...
- What enigma is that?
- Aksay: It's... I shouldn't be telling you, but I heard outsiders have some special skills which might just come in handy.
- Aksay: Based on my observations, there should be an even larger space beneath these ruins. I can find the way to get down into the depths, but it's very hazardous. I heard a few people already croaked in there.
- Aksay: *Sigh* I may have discovered this opportunity, but I'm just an adventurer, not a soldier... If I had a powerful guard to help escort me, I'd definitely be able to find more valuable relics...
- Aksay: How can you have no response after all I've said? I mean — we should team up!
- Aksay: You take care of the pathfinding and protection, and I'll be in charge of finding the ancient relics. We'll sell anything later on at top price and split the profits fifty-fifty. How about it?
- Sounds good to me.
- Aksay: Great. There're troves and troves of treasure down there. Let's get rich together!
- Aksay: Time waits for nobody. Shall we set off now?

- Aksay: Do you think my job is easier than yours? Do you realize how difficult it is to find priceless ancient relics in the pitch-dark underground? Even if you did manage to find something good yourself, those unethical buyers would run circles around you.
- Aksay: Alright, come find me once you've had a think, and I'll take you down into the ruins.

Listen- Naive Treasure Hunter: Bro, I just dug up this weird thing. Wanna go show it to Balaway?
- Self-Assured Treasure Hunter: And waste our money on that guy? I can handle this just fine! This thing... has a trigger, and it can spray out hot air...
- Naive Treasure Hunter: Bro, are you being serious?
- Self-Assured Treasure Hunter: Of course! Why, it looks like a weapon... Probably a Hot-Air Pistol! These ancient weapons are incredible. I bet it's way more vicious than a Silvermane cannon!
- Naive Treasure Hunter: Really? Let's take it down for a test run in the lower depths!
- (Listen to Impulsive Treasure Hunter and Cautious Treasure Hunter, optional)

- Impulsive Treasure Hunter: Everything on the surface has all been carved out. Let's take a look further down!
- Cautious Treasure Hunter: No no no, haven't you heard about the monsters down there?
- Impulsive Treasure Hunter: So what? I'm top 300 on the Fight Club leaderboard!
- Cautious Treasure Hunter: There're probably only 300 fighters there... And even if we go down and win, we're just doing all the work for the next person coming along. That's not worth it!

- I've got questions about the ancient ruins.
- Aksay: Ask away. I'd be happy to help set you at ease, partner!
- How did the ancient ruins come about?
- Aksay: We call it the ancient ruins because some ancient people built them.
- Aksay: You probably heard about how monsters from the sky invaded this place before the Eternal Freeze. This should be a kind of shelter for people back then.
- What ancient relics could we find there?
- Aksay: I'm not sure. There're lots of varied and strange relics there, and I don't even know what most of these are called.
- Aksay: But no matter what we find, what's important is that we can sell it for top money — right?
- Is it dangerous in the ancient ruins?
- Aksay: Sure is. Otherwise, I wouldn't be asking you for help, would I?
- Aksay: There're lots of monsters and buggy automatons down there — not to mention some of my shady peers who won't hesitate to steal the fruits of our gains. And I've heard some talk about even more terrifying things...
- Aksay: But don't worry about it. Where there's a risk, there's a reward. I have faith in your problem-solving ability!

- You don't seem to be working that hard.
- Aksay: Dang, that's hurtful! I've been scrambling to find treasure over here.
- Aksay: You're able to take a break now, but I can't. I have to keep digging to find even more hidden ruins!
- Aksay: You probably get how ruins work now. All the best ruins are down there in the depths — but it's also more dangerous the deeper you go.
- Aksay: Go get yourself ready, and come find me anytime you want to go hunting for relics!
