Void Archives
Last updated 2026-09-05
Void Archives was Welt's traveling partner before the latter committed to the Astral Express.[1]
History
Some years ago, Himeko was tasked by Herta to travel to Salsotto to collect Cadence Glass, and on the way discovered an unknown signal coming from a ruined starship.[2] She found Welt and Void Archives, who were drifting aimlessly through space with no fuel, and rescued them.[3] The pair had both left their original world to fight "alien invaders from beyond the sky,"[4] but it is unknown how they ended up drifting through space.
Welt and Void Archives were the first two people besides Himeko to officially board the Astral Express,[5] and both began to work for the Express as thanks and to pay off the financial debt from their rescue.[2] At some point before Dan Heng boarded, Void Archives started acting up to no good and left a "lasting scar" on the crew before leaving.[6][Note 1]
Additionally, at some point Void Archives repaired the robot drinksmith "Shush", and decided to rename the Meeting Car to the Party Car since he felt that it didn't make any sense for a meeting to take place in such a large car with such few Nameless.
Himeko remembers him as pretentious,[7] and Luocha is said to have a resemblance to him, causing some members of the Astral Express to act strangely around him.[6]
At some point, Void Archives ended up stranded in Astropolis. There, he sold the blueprints for "Shush" to make some extra money. He did not, however, sell the blueprints for the Pun Generator.[8]

Trivia
- During the events of A Post-Honkai Odyssey, Void Archives takes on the appearance of Otto Apocalypse, whom Luocha bears a striking resemblance to.
- The "alien invaders from beyond the sky," whom Void Archives and Welt embarked on a journey to permanently eliminate, are known as the "Sky People."
Notes
- ↑ According to March 7th in Trailblaze Mission The Voyage Continues, she implies it was Void Archives who discovered her trapped in Six-Phased Ice along with Himeko and Welt, not Dan Heng. This is later retconned in both Dan Heng's character story and Companion Mission Total Recall.
