Dialogue

The following cutscene is accessed after clearing Floor 100.

"Hallinorak": You're here.
"Hallinorak": It means you've cleared 100 trials, and you're the first to do so.
"Hallinorak": Now... as promised, I'm giving you the "surprise."
Icon Dialogue Talk Wait, who are you?
Icon Dialogue Talk Hold on, what is this place?
"Hallinorak": A lonely virtual avatar in an empty virtual space.
"Hallinorak": An empty virtual space, hidden with a lonely virtual avatar like me.
Icon Dialogue Talk You are not a virtual avatar, are you?
"Hallinorak": I want to say "no," but I really am just a virtual avatar.
"Hallinorak": This is the virtual Lumina Square. Your physical body is still in the VR simulation pod, but since you cleared the 100th floor, your consciousness has been transmitted here.
"Hallinorak": Explanation done. Now, time for the surprise, the surprise...
"Hallinorak": ...Oops, I almost forgot — the surprise is out there. Go talk to other living beings in this virtual space. They know where it's hidden.
"Hallinorak": Ah, by the way, thank you for participating in my challenge.

(Idle)
"Nes": Let's have a showdown in the rain...
(Talk to "Nes")
"Nes": Welcome back, dear Investigator. Do you like what I've done with the place?
Icon Dialogue Talk It ends tonight.
"Nes": I know it does. I've seen it...
"Nes": ...I was actually looking forward to recreating some classic movie scenes. How about a duel in the rain?
Icon Dialogue Talk It's not raining here.
"Nes": Don't be a killjoy! I chose this look and stood in the middle of the road just to recreate that classic movie scene!
Icon Dialogue Talk This look is pretty different from the original, don't you think?
"Nes": After all, if we copied it exactly... I have a feeling we'd be asking for trouble.
Icon Dialogue Talk Am I the only one who can access this hidden area?
"Nes": Y-Yes... Anyway! You're strong, as powerful as the One. That's why you're here... a virtual space that others have yet to reach.
"Nes": But don't you think you've been guided here?
Icon Dialogue Talk Even without your letter...
Icon Dialogue Talk I would still have come here of my own will.
"Nes": No, it's not just about the letter. It's about your very presence here. All the wounds you've endured, the battles you've fought, the effort you've put in — are they truly the result of an independent individual acting on their own free will?
"Nes": Everything is like this square... I often find myself thinking like this...
Icon Dialogue Talk How can I get out of here?
"Nes": What? Oh, you mean this...
"Nes": Go find the real "me." He's standing at the mall entrance, watching the Starloop Tower in an inhuman stance... Ask him for the red and blue pills. You know which one to take.

The two virtual NPCs fall completely silent, yet the statue before you does not come to life with their silence.
Icon Dialogue Talk Punch him
"The Trailblazer": ...Hello.
Icon Dialogue Talk I want to leave this place.
"The Trailblazer": You're free to leave at any time... But it's a rare opportunity to be invited here, so why not enjoy it a little longer?
Icon Dialogue Talk I'm here for the red and blue pills.
"The Trailblazer": Forget about what Nes said. He's gotten a bit too into character.
Icon Dialogue Talk Are you the developer of these floors?
Icon Dialogue Talk Then who are those two rip-off movie characters?
"The Trailblazer": You're right. I'm the missing developer. No matter what I was called in the real world — whether human, Thiren, or Intelligent Construct — in this virtual space, I'm called "The Trailblazer," and I just want to be part of a building.
"The Trailblazer": And those two... they're both "me," the ideal versions of myself that I created. I'm surprised you could tell — seems like we both are movie fans!
"The Trailblazer": Anyway, it's impressive that you made it here. Unfortunately, all I have is a bunch of virtual data. I can't give you much, but I'll do my best to answer your questions.
Icon Dialogue Talk Why did you design the hidden endless floors?
"The Trailblazer": Because of aspiration. You know, "Joyous" navigated the "Divine Maze" and became a legend in the hearts of countless investigators... I've always wanted to recreate that kind of environment where challengers can carry their spirits through endless trials. Obviously, 25 floors are far from enough.
"The Trailblazer": So I secretly added a few things to make the tower endless. But I feel like it was just for my own enjoyment, so I only opened up one slot to unlock the hidden floors.
"The Trailblazer": I guess I underestimated the New Eridu people. Getting here proves you have a shot at being the next Leader "Joyous"... Maybe there are others in New Eridu with the same kind of strength.
Icon Dialogue Talk I won't be the next "Joyous."
Icon Dialogue Talk I'm the only one. Unique and one-of-a-kind.
"The Trailblazer": Interesting... but sadly, I'm no longer part of that world, so I won't get to witness your growth.
Icon Dialogue Talk Where did you go?
Icon Dialogue Talk Was it intentional that you disappeared?
"The Trailblazer": The Papago Hollow.
"The Trailblazer": The real me followed in "Joyous's" footsteps and ventured deep into there. I'm not sure if I'm still alive... Hope one day you'll catch the news in New Eridu Program about me successfully navigating the Hollow.
Icon Dialogue Talk Why go for something so risky?
"The Trailblazer": Risky? It's precisely that spirit of risk-taking that allowed Eridu to build its city. It's because of that courage the investigators and Proxies have achieved what they have today.
"The Trailblazer": I have no family, no close friends — I'm all alone. Maybe that's why adventure is where I belong.
"The Trailblazer": I want to measure the potential of the New Eridu people with my own body.
"The Trailblazer": Whether you understand or not... I'm just glad. Your arrival has shown me a glimpse of what's possible. Now, it's time to send you back.
"The Trailblazer": Hope next time, we can meet in real life.
