Here It Once Swayed is a set from the Lost Items From the Old Capital's section of Ray's Research Log. It does not feature a commission after completion.

Set Description

It is presumed that these items were left in the Hollow during the fall of the old capital. They all seem to be related to plants... More clues will be needed for further analysis.

• After completing the set:

Here's one possibility.
A girl wearing an expensive dress escaped from a cage during the disaster and was swallowed by the Hollow. Away from home, she took a potted plant with her. She smashed the pot and transplanted the plant, keeping only a fragment of the pot with her. For some unknown reason, the plant grew quickly and withered just as fast, leaving the girl with a handful of cherished flower seeds. The story ends with the flower seeds, with nobody knowing what happened to the girl. All that others know is that she claimed to be happy.

A piece of torn cloth that looks like it was once part of an expensive dress. Although it is stained with mud, closer inspection reveals traces of fading from washing and wrinkles that not even cleaning could smooth out. Who would damage a good piece of clothing just to get a piece of cloth?
	Matchbox	Inferno Reap challenge reward — Forged in Battle: Deal a total of 15,000,000 damage to Nineveh
A fairly clean and light matchbox. Seemingly empty, it actually contains more than a dozen dried flower seeds. It's almost impossible for plants to bloom and grow in a Hollow, so it's unlikely these seeds could take root and grow now after being lovingly stored in this matchbox by someone... Or should we try anyway?
	Pottery Fragment	Inferno Reap challenge reward — Forged in Battle: Deal a total of 50,000,000 damage to Nineveh
Based on the pattern on it, this piece of pottery belonged to a flowerpot that was once extremely popular in the old capital. The edge of the fragment seems to have been ground by something. The technique used was rough, but it managed to turn it into a sharp weapon... Upon closer inspection, it looks like it has been used for some time and has become somewhat blunt.

This fresh and tender pink flower looks like a drop of dew slid across it just moments ago. At first glance, it looks like a flower sold by a florist. The only problem is this flower has never been documented in New Eridu or shows up in any records of the old civilization. Its petals begin to wither the moment it is brought out of the Hollow.

"I ran away from that house. Everyone used to fight over everything in there, yet now they're scrambling to get away from it. How ridiculous." "Taking this pot of flowers with me has been more troublesome than I thought... but I can't bear to leave it behind. I still miss my mother." "Woohoo! I found a bucket. But it's only the fifth day, and it has bloomed four times already... Is this some kind of omen?" The last entry seems to be written with a finger in a faint color: "At least the flowers are still blooming. At least I'm free here. I'm happier than I've ever been."
