Damaged Diary

"I ran away from that house. Everyone used to fight over everything in there, yet now they're scrambling to get away from it. How ridiculous."
"Taking this pot of flowers with me has been more troublesome than I thought... but I can't bear to leave it behind. I still miss my mother."
"Woohoo! I found a bucket. But it's only the fifth day, and it has bloomed four times already... Is this some kind of omen?"
The last entry seems to be written with a finger in a faint color: "At least the flowers are still blooming. At least I'm free here. I'm happier than I've ever been."
