Kirishima

Kirishima is a commission-exclusive NPC who appears in Asaba Harumasa's Agent Story: A Name Written in Water.

Profile

Kirishima is a scientist who works on developing Ether corruption-suppressing technology. Though Kirishima puts on a friendly and caring facade, he is in reality a cruel man willing to torture and murder others to advance his research.

History

Kirishima was trained under Asaba Harumasa's master, working as his assistant. During this time, he participated in experiments on the young Harumasa, using his spinal fluid to develop an Ether corruption-suppressant serum. Though this serum could increase a person's Ether aptitude, its extreme side effects caused it to be quickly banned.

Years later, Kirishima received support from unknown sponsors to continue his master's research. He opened a sanatorium for children with the same condition as Harumasa, supposedly to help treat their condition, but in reality he experimented on them in the hopes of creating a better serum. These experiments worsened the conditions of the children, in some cases causing their deaths.
