Dialogue
Ridu Weekly
- (Idle)
- Quixie: Ehn-nuh... (The novel's contents...)
- (Talk to Quixie)
- Quixie: Na-neh, En-nah ehn-na! (Well, look who it is — a wealthy merchant!)
A... wealthy merchant?
You mean me?- Quixie: En-nah, nah-nu ehn-na, en-na-nah! (Indeed! It is just as the book said! A passing merchant, filled with admiration for the great hero, gifts him flowers and a precious sword!)
But aren't you a knight?
So I've changed classes from squire to squillionaire?- Quixie: Nah! (Bah! When in Rome, right?)
- Quixie: En-neh-nah! (Either way, that's not important. What matters is the sword!)
What a straightforward "hero" we have here...- Quixie: Ehn-nah! (Come now, let's get going!)
- (Talk to Quixie again, optional)
- Quixie: Ehn-ne! (Any shop with lots of equipment is bound to have it!)
- (Talk to Passionate Clerk)
- Passionate Clerk: A sword... sized for a Bangboo?
- Passionate Clerk: Sorry, I've never heard of anything like that...
As expected...
- (Return to Quixie)
- Quixie: Enn-nah... (It seems I'm not a real hero yet...)
A sword alone does not make the hero...
You can be a hero who doesn't wield a sword...- Quixie: En-nah nu-nah! (You're right! A true hero never gives up!)
- (Idle)
- Quixie: En-nah! (Come, face me!)
- (Talk to Quixie)
- Quixie: Ehn-ne, en-en-neh! (Wonderful timing, oh retainer mine!)
A new identity? Glorious.
Still playing hero, I see?- Quixie: Ehnn-nah! (Quite so!)
- Quixie: Ehn-ne-neh, en-nah! (Quickly now, assist me in issuing a challenge — I wish to "spar" with those within!)
Wait... isn't that a bit too sudden?- Quixie: En-nah ehn-nuh, nu-na-ehn! (Well, that's what all the books say — this is where I'll make my name and become a true hero!)
- Quixie: En-nah, en-ehn-nu! (And once I have gained that title, you can be my sword attendant!)
- (Talk to Quixie again, optional)
- Quixie: Ehn-ne-ne... (Now, where's that super-skilled master...)
- (Talk to Suibian Temple Disciple)
- Suibian Temple Disciple: You mean a Bangboo wants to challenge Shifu?
- Suibian Temple Disciple: We martial artists live by the code: "Life and death are predestined, wealth and glory are in heaven's hands"!
!
D—Do we have to go that far?- Suibian Temple Disciple: If you're ready, I can go report to Shifu now.
Not just yet! I'll have a proper talk with this "hero" first!
- (Return to Quixie)
- Quixie: En, ehn-na-nah... (For my servant's safety, perhaps I should reconsider this whole "sparring" business...)
- Quixie: Ehn-nu... (But can I still become a great hero this way...)
A hero isn't necessarily the one strongest in martial arts...
A true hero is one who stands up for justice!- Quixie: Ehn-nah! (That's true. The novel says so, too!)
- Quixie: Ehn, en-nu-nuh! (A true hero helps everyone, and does many a good deed!)
- (Idle)
- Quixie: Ehn-ne... (Where could it be...)
- (Talk to Quixie)
- Quixie: En-nah, en-en-nuh! (At last you have arrived, my loyal retainer!)
No, you've got the wrong person...
Oh, this looks bad, time to bounce!- Quixie: Nah, en-nah! Ehn-en-nuh? (Halt, servant! How can you flee on the eve of battle?)
That's some heavy wording... What kind of trouble are you in now?- Quixie: Nu-nah! Ehn-nu en-nah... (Mere trifles! While "wandering the realm" I simply happened to encounter a citizen who was having a tough time with ingredient shortage in their shop ...)
- Quixie: En-nah en-nuh, Ehn-en-nah! (As a future hero, I must lend her my aid!)
Doesn't sound too hard...- Quixie: Ehn-na, en-nah! (Yes! We merely need to slay one dragon!)
- Quixie: En-nu-nah... (That way, way we can help that poor citizen...)
...
I'd best go check again...
- (Talk to Busy Clerk)
- Busy Clerk: D—Dragon slaying...!?
- Busy Clerk: Customer, are you getting the wrong idea by any chance?
- Busy Clerk: My shop's just a regular joint. I don't make fancy dishes like braised dragon tail...
You don't have dragon tail...
But do you have dragon liver or phoenix gall?- Busy Clerk: Hold up. If you're looking for something auspicious, our menu does have "Dragon Bone Soup"...
- Busy Clerk: But just so we're clear — none of the ingredients have anything to do with actual dragons!
- Busy Clerk: Trouble is, we're sold out for the day. If anything, Sweety's rather concerned about ingredient procurement...
- Busy Clerk: Don't tell me just another customer took Sweety's joke seriously.
(So that's how the misunderstanding happened...)
- (Return to Quixie)
- Quixie: Ehn, en-nah?! (What? They have no need of our dragon-slaying aid!?)
- Quixie: Nuh-nuh... (My chance to perform a heroic act has slipped by...)
Let's start with the easy stuff first, shall we?
Plenty of other people around here need help.- Quixie: Ehn-nuh, en-nuh-nah! (Oh, right you are! I'm giving up far too early, aren't I?)
- (Idle)
- Quixie: En-neh-noo... (I wonder what's in this new chapter...)
- (Idle)
- Quixie: Nha-neh... (Can't sleep...)
- (Talk to Quixie)
- Quixie: Nah, en-ehn! (Wh—What are you doing here!?)
Greetings, Great Hero Quixie.
Am I your loyal servant no longer?- Quixie: En-nuhh... (Please, no more of such words...)
- Quixie: Ehn-nah-nu, enn-nuhh... (I have been here for so long, and yet, I have failed to become a great hero...)
- Quixie: Nu-nuhh... (I must leave this place, where I have known only heartache...)
It'd be a shame if you left like this!
Don't you want to at least make some memories here?- Quixie: Ehn-nah, enn-nah-na... (You speak true. I was *this* close to becoming a hero...)
- Quixie: En-nah-nah! (Could you take a photo of me with the "Bangboo Inn," then?)
- (Talk to Quixie, optional)
- Quixie: Ehn-nnah! (Make me look cool, would you?)
- (After taking a photo of it in front of Boobox)
- Quixie: En, en-nuhh!? (Why, the Bangboo in this photo looks quite the hero's part indeed!)
I'm in complete agreement.
There's still room for improvement...- Quixie: En-nah! (I've made up my mind!)
- Quixie: En-nuh, Ehn-nah-na! (I will stay here. I shall keep pushing on until the day I become a true hero!)
- "Hero's Path" Achievement Complete
- (Idle)
- Quixie: En-enn-nah! (A hero never gives up!)

Trivia
- Quixie is a reference to Don Quixote, a Spanish fictional character of the novel by the same name; he read so many chivalric romances that he lost his mind and decided to become a knight-errant to revive chivalry and serve his nation. More specifically:
- Quixie refers to itself as a knight-errant too;
- By acting as the down-to-earth squire aware of the delusional nature of the knight's adventures, the Proxy covers the same role as Sancho Panza;
- The event starting with Quixie believing Random Play to be a castle is a reference to Don Quixote having the same delusion with an inn at the very beginning of his journey;
- Quixie's obsession with the non-existing Princess Elena is a parallel to Don Quixote's obsession with the Dulcinea of his delusions;
- The "Think Again" Statue being a Giant that steals princesses' kingdoms is a reference to Don Quixote's delusion of wineskins being the giants that stole princess Micomicona's kingdom;
- The innocent farmers being sent to the execution grounds is a reference to Don Quixote freeing a group of galley slaves.
Etymology
- Quixie is a diminutive of Quixote.
