Miss Esme is Alice Thymefield's Bangboo and part of the Thymefield Family. After learning the truth about her father's death, Alice found the courage to face her past and got Miss Esme a limited edition Magic Sailor Boo skin.[1] However, the new outfit made her feel the pressure of having to be akin to Magic Sailor Boo.[1][2] The skin allows her to transform like Magic Sailor Boo, but her floating and signature moves are only possible inside Hollows, as they rely on high Ether power concentration.[2]

- Miss Esme is a reference to the magical girl franchise Sailor Moon:
- The in-game show her skin comes from is called "Magic Sailor Boo";
- She has the same "hairdo" as the titular character;
- Her outfit, with a pleated skirt and a giant ribbon on the chest, is the same as the Sailor Guardians';
- She wields a heart-shaped, pink magic wand as a weapon;
- Her transformation sequence, as displayed in her Behind-the-Scenes video,[3] has the same visual effects as the anime's.
