- Wonderland Trickery samples excerpts from Wonderland Reverie and Burning Desires.
- The EP also spoofs Come Alive, partially reusing the lyrics.
- The EP's vocalist, Ikumi Hasegawa, is also the voice of Ukinami Yuzuha.
- The music video contains countless references to pop culture, memes and Zenless Zone Zero itself.
- There are scenes using pixel art that bare a passing resembelence to the animation used in Lo-Fi Girl streams. A Nintendo Switch is visible in the background.
- During a scene where Phaethon read the total of a forgered electricity bill, Belle begins shaking with a mug of water in her hand, likely in reference to the cutscene featured in Quick Inspection.
- Yuzuha and Alice Thymefield are seen mimicking the iconic scene from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, where Jack Torrence breaks through a wooden door using an axe to get to his wife, Wendy. Jack peers through the door and says "Here's Johnny."
- Yuzuha, Alice, Wise and Belle appear as sprites in a video game that uses a similar HUD and stage seen in Bizarre Brigade. Yuzuha is depicted as a giant with demon wings, before transitioning to her inside a mech that resembles the head of a Tanuki and Mai's part of the Pilaf Machine from Dragon Ball. The countdown to game over at the end is based on the countdown seen in Zenless Zone Zero.
- Yuzuha appears alongside Burnice White in a scene parodying parts of Burnice's character demo "A Burnice Special for the Brokenhearted", namely the countdown to the beat drop and Yuzuha doing Burnice's pose on the bar whilst Burnice takes photos of her.
- The final part of the music video is based on Tales of Midsummer Dreams, the event that debuted alongside Yuzuha's release. It depicts several parts of the event and includes cameos from Trigger, Piper Wheel, Qingyi, the Cunning Hares, Astra Yao, Alice, Komano Manato and Phaethon.

- Wonderland Trickery's title is a parody of Wonderland Reverie, which it also samples the opening from.
