Alkindi

Alkindi is a quest-exclusive NPC and the current Spantamad Sage of the Sumeru Akademiya.

Profile

Alkindi was once a classmate and rival of Cyrus. He spent years throwing himself into various research fields before becoming the current sage of Spantamad.^[1]

During Archon Quest Song of the Welkin Moon: Act IX - As All Falls to Emptiness, he helps the Traveler by investigating the occurring Ley Line anomalies.

Appearance

Alkindi is a tall man with pale skin, medium-length gray hair that flares outward at the sides, and round blue goggles. He wears a crimson sherwani styled with beige accents and green gemstones.

His hairline is said to have receded due to the stress of his academic hustle.^[1]

Etymology

• Al-Kindi was a 9th century Arab polymath who was active as a philosopher, mathematician, physician, and music theorist. He is also known as the "Father of Arab Philosophy".
