Summary
Act I - A Brush of Seafoam and Crimson
- The Illusion's Finishings
The traveler meets some Eremites and a Melusine named Mamere. Following Mamere underwater, they enter the underground world of the Merusea Village where the Melusines live. Mamere shows the traveler around the village as well as her house, canvas paintings, and Seymour. They also help collect "paint" for Mamere. Back at her house, they encounter the Eremites again along with a man named Jakob. They then work on fixing Seymour.
Act II - A Gradient of Dreams and Ochre
- There Will Come Soft Rains
The Traveler encounters Serene in Merusea Village, who explains that her friend Seymour is in disrepair. The Traveler agrees to help find the necessary parts to fix him. The Traveler undertakes a series of tasks, including navigating specific locations in the Beryl Region, defeating enemies (such as Rifthounds), solving environmental puzzles, and collecting the required four Strange Parts. Once all the parts are collected, the Traveler returns to Serene. Submitting the parts allows Serene to successfully repair Seymour.
