Josephus is an open-world shop NPC located at the Memory Core, Pillar Hall Central Zone, Temple of Space where he appears after finishing the World Quest The Wind Has Ceased in Series A Long Day in the Mountains: Prologue - Magic Mountain.
He is responsible for Emberic Reconstruction, which serves as a Souvenir Shop, indicated by the 
icon on the map. After the Memory Core has been raised to its maximum level, the souvenir shop sells various items in exchange for excess Memory Factors.

Profile
Josephus is a philosopher from the time after the War of Funerary Flame that has been selected to be elevated to the Temple of Space, in order to be preserved as a living memory. There, he is known "Master of Anti-Self-Termination" and is in charge of the Emberic Reconstruction.
He is friends with Istoria, who is also a preserved person in the Temple of Space.[1]
Appearance
Josephus is a tall, fair-skinned man with short brown hair. He wears a toga made of layers of white and dark blue fabric. The toga is adorned with golden details and is held in place by a strap around his torso. Josephus also wears black and gold sandals and a laurel wreath.

- Josephus was a Roman–Jewish historian and military leader. His dialogue about why he's called the "Master of Anti-Self-Termination" is a reference to the Josephus problem.
