Curator of the Forgotten Galleries

Curator of the Forgotten Galleries (unofficial name) is a Hidden Exploration Objective that takes place in the Pillar Hall Central Zone, Temple of Space.

It involves completing puzzles to restore exhibits in display cases in 5 locations across the Pillar Hall Central Zone.

Locations

The following puzzles can be completed in any order.

Display Case #1: Remurian Statue

Located in a building that can only be entered from an elevated ledge on the north side. Use the nearby Harpasta to reach it.
Restoring the exhibit rewards Luxurious Chest ×1.

Display Case #2: Fontemer Aberrants

Defeat Domain Keeper ×2 to obtain the northernmost Elemental Cube and unlock Exquisite Chest ×1.
Restoring the exhibit rewards Exquisite Chest ×3.

Display Case #3: Ruin Grader

Defeat Ruin Grader ×1.
Restoring the exhibit rewards Exquisite Chest ×1.

Display Case #4: Fungi

Restoring the exhibit rewards Precious Chest ×1 and Exquisite Chest ×1.

Display Case #5: Fungi & Consecrated Red Vulture

Restoring the two small exhibits rewards Exquisite Chest ×1.
Pyro and Dendro cubes cannot be placed right next to each other, as they will react and dissolve. Geo cubes can be used to separate them.
Restoring the large exhibit rewards Precious Chest ×1.

Gameplay Notes

Completing this Hidden Exploration Objective rewards the Wonders of the World achievement Gallery Manners 101.
Total chests: Luxurious Chest ×1, Precious Chest ×2, and Exquisite Chest ×7

Dialogue

(Read the plaque in front of Display Case #1, optional): Holy Sword: "I asked around among a few Remurians and Fontainians. Everyone told me the same thing: it's just a normal sword. No one seems to know why it's being exhibited here."

(Read the plaque in front of Display Case #3, optional): From Swords to Plowshares: "A mechanical device originating from the nation known as 'Khaenri'ah,' here classified as a 'Field Tiller.'"; From Swords to Plowshares: "As it is not equipped with any form of cognitive simulation module and can only operate according to a limited set of preset instructions, it is presumed to possess little combat value. It should, however, remain suitable for basic agricultural use."

I shall only demonstrate this once.; Paimon: Why did that sound like someone giving their final words?; Josephus: Your final lesson is as such. (After the dialogue): Josephus: Remember to distinguish between the elements...

(The cubes transform into a Grounded Geoshroom and Winged Dendroshroom, respectively)

Paimon: Hold on. Who exactly were you praising there?

(Dex points towards a larger display case nearby)

Josephus: Now then, the next step is to consider how things influence one another.

(Josephus leads them over to the large display case)

Josephus: Observe the elemental reactions, the long-range forces, and the short-range forces. And remember to avoid unnecessary disturbances.

Paimon: Uh, what language are you speaking right now!?

(After the dialogue): Josephus: See how the elements interact with each other...
