Profile

Juhani was a pirate who served on board the Atlas together with Hark before it sank near the Eye of Kratti. He and others survived the wreck and made it to shore.^[1]

After the Atlas shipwrecked, he and Hark signed on with the "Peripatetic Circle" caravan. When the caravan's goods were stolen in Nasha Town, Hark became the prime suspect because of his past as a pirate and a spending spree at The Flagship after the theft. He denied everything and instead accused Juhani, claiming he had seen him pilfering the goods. In an ensuing fight, Hark accidentally killed Juhani.^[2] It is likely that it was indeed Juhani who stole the goods from the caravan.^[3]

• Juhani is a common Finnish male given name rendered from the Swedish name Johan. It is the modern vernacular form of the biblical Johannes (“John”).
