The Atlas was a pirate ship that crashed at the Eye of Kratti in Nod-Krai.
The Atlas's wreckage can be found at the Eye of Kratti along with ghosts of its crew.[1]

Some of the crew survived the shipwreck and made it to shore. Today, Hark the Crackjaw is supposedly the last man standing.[3]

Story
During its travels, Lovisa was visiting the captain when she smashed a hole in the deck and uncovered a hidden compartment with the Inscripta-Cognoscenti's Feather, one of the Proof of the Cognoscenti, inside.
A few years before the present,[4] the Atlas sank near the Eye of Kratti, along with the Proof of the Cognoscenti. It is implied that abnormal forces were involved in the Atlas' fate. According to Libuse, the Frostmoon Scions believe that the ship was "cursed by something out at sea."[5]
Present
During the events of Whisper Beneath the Waves, the Traveler and Paimon encounter the ghosts of the Atlas' and other ships' fallen crew. They follow them deep underground to the "roots" of the tree and revitalize it with the power of kuuvahki, causing the tree to begin shining. When they return to the surface, they find the lost Proof of the Cognoscenti.
