Etymology

• Philomena, also known as Saint Philomena (Ancient Greek: Ἁγία Φιλουμένη Hagía Philouménē; Greek: Αγία Φιλομένα Agía Filoména) or Philomena of Rome, was a Greek virgin martyr whose remains were discovered on 24–25 May 1802, in the Catacomb of Priscilla. She is the patron saint of babies, infants, and youth, and is known as "The Wonderworker."
