Summary

• After the first day of the event, a new part of the quest will begin every two days. Complete the quest to unlock the associated challenge. Complete the challenge to obtain Primogems, Hero's Wit, Character Talent Materials, and other rewards.
• A maximum of two players can carry out the challenge in Co-Op Mode. The results of the challenge will be recorded for both players.

• During the event, you can speak to Ranjit and engage in challenges of varying difficulty. Ranjit will provide you with Negotiation Strategies that can be of great help in combat.
• On Fearless difficulty, you can even adjust your Negotiation Strategies. Decreasing the number of Strategies will increase the difficulty of challenges.
• Complete challenge objectives at different difficulties to obtain the corresponding ratings and rewards.
• A maximum of two players can carry out the challenge in Co-Op Mode. The results of the challenge will be recorded for both players.

Tutorial

In the Specially-Shaped Saurian Search, you can speak to Ranjit and engage in challenges of varying difficulty. Ranjit will provide you with Negotiation Strategies that can be of great help in combat.
On Fearless difficulty, you can even adjust your Negotiation Strategies. Decreasing the number of Strategies will increase the difficulty of challenges.

The various Negotiation Strategies are divided into Active Strategies and Long-Term Strategies. The former can be activated by you at the appropriate time. Additionally, your opponent's HP and Level can also change based on the number of Negotiation Strategies you have selected.

Complete different challenges at different difficulties to obtain the corresponding ratings and rewards.

You can invite a maximum of one other player to do the challenge in Co-Op Mode. The results of the challenge will be recorded for both players.

You can configure your party before the battle begins during a challenge. When you enter battle, all party members will be revived, and their HP and Elemental Energy will be restored. Additionally, you can adjust your Negotiation Strategies before entering combat.

Press the button on the left side of the minimap to check for challenge details and information on the Negotiation Strategies you are currently using.

Challenges

• For all challenges, the player is teleported to a different area containing the special boss battle. This area uses the overworld map and terrain, but teleport waypoints are missing from the area, and the map is bounded.
  • There are also cannons on the map, used by Ranjit. They appear on the map regardless of whether the player uses the relevant Negotiation Strategy.
  • Attempting to open the map causes the message "Challenge ongoing, unable to perform this action" to appear.
  • Until the battle is activated, the player also does not take any fall damage, and all skill, attack, and burst UI is not present. The player can dive inside Fontaine's waters, but is unable to dash underwater despite being able to dash on land and while swimming on the surface water.
  • Once the battle is activated, a boundary around the boss is formed, similar to those of weekly bosses. If there was a mechanic (wind current or Fontainian water ring) specifically added to the map to return to Ranjit's area, the mechanic disappears.

• Inside the challenge area, there is a book icon that the player can open. Pressing this icon opens a description, split into two pages:

  • This page contains the same information as other places that Opponent's Details are given
• Negotiation Strategies
  • Selected Negotiation Strategies
    • This section of the page lists the negotiation strategies chosen by the player.
  • Additional Effects
    • When the number of Negotiation Strategies selected is greater than or equal to 2, or fewer than 2, opponents' levels increase by 0 or 10.
    • When the number of Negotiation Strategies selected is 4/3/2/1/0, opponents' HP increases to 100%/200%/325%/475%/650% of the original value
• Inside the challenge area, there are challenge objectives. These are the same as the ones listed in each difficulty description.
  • For Fearless difficulty, the timer only appears if the player has not selected any Negotiation Strategies.
• There is a bubble around the special boss before the player activates the battle at the floating key (similar to the key in spiral abyss). There are also options to configure party members and Negotiation Strategies at the key.

Opponent's Details

• A special kind of giant elemental plant that lives in seclusion underground, using its brightly colored flowers to lure prey down to it
• After combat begins, the Sky-Searing Pyro Regisvine will form an Elemental Nucleus that appears similar to a Pyro core at its corolla. When the Elemental Nucleus at its head is destroyed, the Sky-Searing Pyro Regisvine will use a formidable attack with a massive area of effect, and expose its Elemental Nucleus at its roots.
• Destroying the Elemental Nucleus may be the key to effectively damaging the Sky-Searing Pyro Regisvine...

Opponent's Details

• A special kind of Primo Geovishap that has stirred from its ancient slumber. It is a being that can wield the power of both Hydro and Cryo simultaneously, and use Primordial Shower attacks of the corresponding Elemental types.
• When this attack hits a character protected by a shield and fails to destroy said shield, damage will be reflected back onto the Wintry Primo Geovishap; if the Elemental type of the shield is the same Elemental type as the Primordial Shower, or is a Geo shield, then damage will be reflected back even more violently, and the Wintry Primo Geovishap's All Elemental RES and Physical RES will be reduced.
• In addition, the Wintry Primo Geovishap will release Energized Scales. After a character gets close to these scales, they will unleash attacks, and deal DMG to nearby characters.

Opponent's Details

• A special variety of Jadeplume Terrorshroom that can create a Dendro shield to protect itself. When the Metastable Jadeplume Terrorshroom has a Dendro Shield, its All Elemental and Physical RES will both be increased.
• When it is hit by Catalyze reactions and Electro, it will accumulate "Activation." When Activation is fully accumulated, the Metastable Jadeplume Terrorshroom will enter the Activated state and shed its Dendro Shield.
• When not in the Activated state, if it receives Pyro damage, it will become Scorched, and release spores in every direction, and cause them to explode in order to leave this state. After leaving the Scorched state, the Metastable Jadeplume Terrorshroom will reform its Dendro Shield.
• In addition, when the Metastable Jadeplume Terrorshroom is not in the Activated or Scorched states, and is not protected by a shield, it will reform its Dendro Shield.

Opponent's Details

• A lonesome lord of seahorses ruling over almost all other Fontemer Aberrants, it has an even more powerful Xenomare Pearl that allows it to use a variety of intense elemental attacks. Moreover, it possesses extremely strong defensive abilities.
• Other than using Elemental Reactions to destroy the Xenomare Pearl, you can also destroy the four Resonant Coral Orbs that revolve around its body that the Enraged Millennial Pearl Seahorse creates while guiding Fontemer Hoarthunder to deal effective DMG to said Pearl.
