Appearance

Ursula wears one of the standard uniforms of the Knights of Favonius. The uniform consists of a black long-sleeved shirt, tight-fitting pants under a gray skirt and a white plate armor worn on top. Unlike other knights, she does not have her knees covered and only has greaves on her legs. The Knights of Favonius crest decorates her breastplate and she wears a belt. She has shoulder length light brown hair with bangs that cover one of her eyes.

Ursula: As soon as I get this month's pay... I'm going to have a meal with Ematol. Then, I'm buying that limited-edition portable Commanders console... I really hope the price hasn't gone up again!

Why are you thinking about your salary while standing guard?

Ursula: Because I'm a workplace slacker... No, I am the Slacker Extraordinaire!

Ursula: Ever since we got back here to Dornman Port, things haven't been as busy as they were before. In fact, things have been pretty laid-back recently.

Ursula: It's not like when we were in Nod-Krai, when we barely had time to rest. If we weren't fighting monsters, we were digging trenches, building fortifications, cleaning our weapons, or hauling supplies...

Ursula: Now, whenever a knight goes on leave, I can volunteer to cover for them and earn myself some extra pay that way!

How is this considered "slacking"?

You're clearly putting in overtime.

Ursula: ...Right? No... I mean... Um... No?

Ursula: There's more money going into my pocket, so I'm the winner here... right?

Ursula: Besides, this slacker has other ways of earning herself more mora.

Ursula: The top three shooters at Ranged Company's monthly shoot also get a cash prize!

Ursula: And ever since they started the contest, this slacker has managed to win it every single time!

But that's... still not "slacking," is it?

I mean, you clearly got yourself a bonus for good performance!

Ursula: But working with everyone makes me happy, shooting makes me happy, cleaning my musket makes me happy, and eating those canned rations makes me happy...

Ursula: My life is full of things that make me happy, and I'm raking in the mora! So no matter how I look at it, I have the one-up over the Knights of Favonius.

Are you saving up for something big? Or are you really being paid that little?

Ursula: Oh no, that's not it. It's because... Armored Assault is pretty popular. The price of the limited-edition Commanders console in galactic silver, which was produced in very small numbers, has also been skyrocketing over the years.

Ursula: If I'm not wrong, I'm actually in the salary tier that's just below the vice captain's...

Ursula: But even with my paycheck, those models are quite the expense. It's amazing to me how some folks can snap up a dozen of them at one go...

Actually, it sounds like you're doing quite well.

It sure doesn't sound like you need a raise anytime soon.

Ursula: I mean, apart from not being able to splurge on all the models and comics I want, I can pretty much buy anything!

Ursula: I've got quite a decent bit of mora left over to eat something delicious with Ematol every month!

Ursula: If only that Erminie would stop taking up so much of Ematol's time... I just need to get my gift ready for that gloomy Phonia.

Ematol?

Ursula: She's a good friend of mine from the Investigative Team! A first-class expert who always hooks me up with wonderful ammo!

Ursula: I got to know her when we were both at Support Company's clinic.

Ursula: When I first met her, she was covered in bandages from head to toe — she'd misjudged the safety distance for a controlled demolition and sent herself flying...

Ursula: And I was there after I'd botched the testing of high-pressure rounds for a new musket. I fired too many rounds in a single burst, the musket blew up, and a nasty fragment knocked out my front tooth...

That sounds like quite the disaster...

Ursula: I suppose? It... didn't hurt that much though?

Ursula: She burst out laughing when she saw the state I was in, and I couldn't help but laugh along too. That got us chatting, and we became friends.

Ursula: I think we'd still be meeting up for meals every week if I hadn't been sent out with the expeditionary force!

Ursula: Ematol even said that she was going to get me some grenades that pack a serious punch. Nothing like those clunky, launcher-dependent ones that Fontaine's Special Security and Surveillance Patrol uses...

Ursula: These grenades fit right over the muzzle and are fired using a blank round. With this method, we get a much, much larger caliber and payload...

Ursula: The goal here is to be able to shatter a Mitachurl's shield with a single hit!

Ursula: Oddly, while Ematol is an expert on ammo, she knows nothing about muskets. I just hope she doesn't end up in the clinic again from one of her tests...
