- Vinezka: Absolutely not... The latest, latest issue of "Tales of the Strange From Okurov" says that giant Firebird has started showing up again lately...
- Vinezka: There's even a witness called "The Anvil" who claims he saw that giant Firebird swallow a whole section of a train car in one gulp!
- Vinezka: You should stay away from the tunnel entrance, for your own safety.
- Vinezka: If there's really, really no other way, we could hire a private detective to go and look into it...

- Vinezka: I knew it! Good thing you didn't go. With those skinny little arms and legs of yours, you wouldn't even make a mouthful for that thing!
- Vinezka: Good thing we had this experienced adventurer take the job instead. Otherwise, forget earning the pay to buy me a ring. You might not have made it back at all!

- Vinezka: Speaking of which, I really want to write a thank-you letter to the author of Tales of the Strange From Okurov... oh, and slip in a little tip, too!
- Vinezka: If it weren't for his book, we never would have dodged that disaster... Even if everyone else claims he's just writing gibberish, I'm going to set the record straight!
