According to the folklore of Dornman Port, the first Windrest Flower was born from the lyre of the Lord of the Wind.
Legend has it that, in an era when the earth was still as white as bone, the god who walked among mortals healed snow-covered wounds and transformed flowing verses into magnificent flowers, turning barren wastelands into fertile lands where people could settle and prosper.
However, not even the current Church of Favonius recognizes these popular stories as real miracles performed by that god. After all, just as plucking the strings of a lyre has never been anyone's exclusive privilege, those who sang of freedom and rebellion, those who made flowers and blood bloom in the North, and those who made it possible for people today to live in peace, were countless humble, tiny, and fragile individuals whose names no one remembers anymore.
