Descriptions
A richly flavored berry that grows on frost-rimed branches of ice.
Before they ripen, Rimecurrants are so tart and astringent as to be nearly inedible. Once ripe, however, they become exceptionally sweet. Unfortunately, ripe and unripe fruits look almost identical, which is why Rimecurrant jam always has a sweet-and-sour flavor. Eating one straight after picking it is nothing short of a roll of the dice.
