Winslow

Winslow is an open-world NPC located in Dornman Port, Windrest Peak, Mondstadt. He appears in the open world after completing the World Quest Winds Beneath the Tower of Silence.

Profile
Winslow is a resident of Dornman Port who lives in the old lighthouse.[1] Although he takes care of the lighthouse and the graves in the Knights of Favonius Ruins beneath it, the locals dislike and have it out for him.
One of them, Odolf, wanted to prank Winslow and added a lure to attract elemental creatures to the lighthouse mechanism. While Odolf was on a business trip in Snezhnaya, the lure attracted an Eye of the Storm, which scared Winslow so badly that he had a nervous breakdown and became extremely paranoid of the "ghosts" living in the ruins.[1]
During the World Quest Winds Beneath the Tower of Silence, the Traveler and Paimon go to the ruins and defeat the elemental creatures, including the Eye of the Storm. Winslow is relieved that the "ghosts" are now gone and he can live in peace.
Afterwards, Odolf admits to the Traveler that he lured the monsters there, thinking it would "blow over" in his absence.[2]

- Winslow: Couldn't be better. No more warning lights flashing in the middle of the night, so the lighthouse walls aren't constantly flickering anymore...
- Winslow: I can finally sleep through the night.
- About the gravestones...
- Winslow: *sigh* They take up a lot of space. I used to think about moving them. I mean, this is where I live now. It's my place, right?
- Winslow: Thinking back, I see how selfish I was being...
- Winslow: So I clean them every day now. They haven't acted up since.
- Winslow: Sometimes, I find myself wondering... If the Abyss really does come one day, maybe they'll see how hard I've been keeping things clean and look out for me a bit. I mean... it's not impossible, right?
- Goodbye.
- Winslow: Goodbye. I hope everything goes well for you...
