Ferrum, the "Bladed Black Velvet", was the 97th of the Three Hundred Rogues of Dolos, a group of tricksters and acolytes of Zagreus hailing from Dolos, Amphoreus. He was a Steelclaw Beast descended from the Georios priests of Hattusili, whose claws were capable of severing weapons with a single swipe. Hunting him and his people down became a coming-of-age ritual for certain families within Castrum Kremnos, due to the notoriety of their claws.

In the #33,550,336th Eternal Recurrence, Ferrum assisted Cifera in the "Divine Deception of Dolos" by venturing to the city-state of Mythemis, where he spent ten days digging a secret tunnel that led to the homes of eight aristocrats and the king's treasury. By the time anyone had noticed, Ferrum had already stolen over half of the treasure, distributing it amongst the locals. He was imprisoned in a cube-shaped steel prison underneath Mythemis, with his exact status remaining unclear.^[1]

In the #33,550,337th Eternal Recurrence, Year 3960 of the Light Calendar, Ferrum was hired by Imperator Cerydra of the Okheman Alliance, under the recommendation of Cifera. With knowledge of a previous hidden escape route from Tribios, Ferrum dug a secret tunnel to the Scales of Justice in Janusopolis, allowing the Okheman Army to seize the Coreflame of Law.^[2]
