Amphoreus Chapter
The Chronicles of Sky

High above the Dawn Device rises a dome at the cloud's edge, where rests the divine body of the Eye of Twilight, Aquila — and with it, the epic of the Sky entombed.

01
Eye of Twilight
The Capricious Pillar God

Master of Twilight
Counted alongside Georios and Phagousa as one of the Three Titans of Foundation, Aquila governs the sky, celestial bodies, and the cycle of day and night in Amphoreus. Their eyelids are the sky itself, drawing the line between dawn and dusk.
Legend says their incarnation is the hundred-eyed divine bird that wields thunder, while their true form is a colossal net hidden behind clouds and the starry sky.
Their moods shape the skies: tranquil sunshine, mournful rain. Aquila's breath is a brisk wind, and their cries resound as thunder in a storm.

Divine Echo
Listen — the distant heavens murmur with the deafening thunder, a sacred echo resounds...
Eye of Twilight, Aquila.
Gather storms as wings, hanging a thousand stars as eyes.
I beseech you, rend apart the abyss of chaos,
That the unyielding may stand, and eagles soar beyond the clouds.

Fragments of Mythology
According to records, Aquila once waged a god-war with Nikador that spanned centuries. Nikador struck blind ninety-nine of Aquila's eyes, leaving only one to watch the world.
Aquila also clashed with Oronyx for dominion over the skies, birthing the Month of Everday and Month of Evernight, as the balance between them waxed and waned.
Aquila is whispered to be the God of Creation themself. The Dawn Device, said to be their gift to Kephale, serves as the final source of light for Okhema.

The people of Amphoreus blame Aquila's curse for the taboo of the "world beyond the sky." Yet the root of it all was caused by an Emperor's Scepter.

02
Daythunder Knight
The First Godslayer Chrysos Heir

A Fissure in the Sky
The Skykin were once divided into tribes, each with a different duty: the Sunfolk governed the blazing sun, the Rainfolk ruled thunder and storm, the Winterfolk kept watch over frost and snow...
But harmony never truly reigned beneath the sky. The Sunfolk, drunk on power, saw the other tribes as weak. The Rainfolk used thunder's fury to crush dissent. The Winterfolk, with their arrogance and obsession, drew resentment from all sides... Each tribe vied for divine favor — until the fractures could no longer be ignore

Legend of Daythunder
Seliose, a girl born of both Sunfolk and Rainfolk bloodlines, carried the golden blood in her veins — a mark of divine strength, yet also the curse of being "other."
Wandering for years, she forged herself into the peerless Daythunder Knight. Declaring herself a blade for the children of humanity, Seliose vowed to strike down the cold-hearted Aquila and end the strife of the Sky people once and for all.
Legends tell of Seliose, clad in wings, rose with Solabis the Sunlit Wings and Lunabis the Moonlit Plume. Together, they claimed the Coreflame.
Yet as Aquila fell, the sky itself began to collapse. Seliose plunged into the husk of the fallen Titan, merging with it to raise the sky dome for the children of humanity once more.

The Truth Behind History
But the truth of history is far more harrowing:
The moment Seliose touched the Coreflame, she glimpsed Aquila's terror of the black tide, and also their apathy — Aquila had never sought mortal worship. In fact, they loathed these fragile lives, just as they loathed that dreadful black tide.
Yet, the Skyfolk that Seliose sought to rouse to rebellion began to worship her, just as they once did Aquila. In her despair over the children of humanity, Seliose passed fatal judgment on them. She chose to become one with Aquila, casting off the humanity that had tormented her for eternity.

03
Descendant of the Twilight
The Lightbearer Who Mends the End Times

Twilight of the Skyfolk
Once, an unnamed Chrysos Heir was spared the death sentence of Theos Synthetos. In return, she bound her bloodline to chant the glorified Daythunder saga through the ages — and left behind a prophecy: A chosen descendant shall yet return to the sky.
Her surviving descendants became known as the Twilight Courtyard — healers across the land, growing strong enough to ally with both Okhema and the Grove.
But as the black tide crept closer, the nomadic Twilight Courtyard began to wither — then came the Castrum Kremnos's crusade. Warrior Jacyntha represented the Courtyard at the Kremnos Festival, in hopes of winning a peace pact — but fell in defeat. With war looming, the last descendants of the Sky scattered into exile — and so, the Twilight Courtyard vanished from the annals of history for an age.

Promise of Faintest Light
But Jacyntha's granddaughter, Hyacinthia, changed everything.
Trained in medicine by her father's hand, she rebuilt the Twilight Courtyard, mending bodies and soothing hearts. From then on, the Courtyard became a haven of medicine, leaving behind its creed: to resolve enmity through healing and end conflicts through harmony.
To the tribe, the chosen descendant had to wield blazing sun and command thunderstorms, just like their ancestor. But when Hyacinthia uttered her prayers, she summoned no storm, no blaze, no frost or snow — only a soft, warm glow.
Once thought unworthy of the ancient calling, this child of humanity rose to challenge the supreme Eye of Twilight. She seized the Coreflame of Sky, and became a rainbow barrier, guarding all life beneath the black tide's shadow.

The Approaching Dawn
True — divinity casts a light that reveals the cowardice in mankind.
But within humanity also burns a collective strength: tenacity.
The Flame-Chase Journey may have begun with a beautified lie, but it carved a thousand-year path to humanity's deliverance — birthing heroes who became beacons for mankind and rekindling hope in mortal hearts.

The children of humanity have proved to Theos Synthetos above the sky: Mankind is worthy of a brand-new dawn.
The flame-chasing epic that began with the Sky, now draws its final curtain beneath it!
