Mission Description

Herta asks you to enter the Simulated Universe created by the Genius Society while pretending to be the Aeon of Trailblaze, and try to glean the secret of Aeons and Paths from the simulated Aeons.

Herta's Office

Defeat the boss enemy

(After entering the Simulated Universe and defeating an enemy)

Lan: You stand in a vast expanse of whiteness and raise your head. You see a tall, valiant figure like a crown prince striding across the Fragmentum.

Lan: The dazzling stellar wind wavered. You see THEM drawing a bow, and then THEY suddenly leap into the distance. You clearly see THEM coming, but after a moment, only his shadow remains.

Herta: "Lan, The Hunt..." Herta whispered. "Don't be in a daze. THEY are ahead of you, hurry up and call THEM."

Lan: You find yourself unable to move at all — it's like THEY have nailed you to an invisible wall, and you don't even know when THEY made the move. You struggle, say THEIR name, and...

It's a turn-based game. You have to deal with me one time before you can go.

Your name is... Lan!

Lan: THEY ignore you and, in the blink of an eye, disappear from your sight.

Herta: "Don't be too discouraged. I will increase THEIR social attribute next time." Herta was a little disappointed, "THEY move too fast. But I was able to intercept some of THEIR information."

Herta: "THEY're probably not very familiar with Akivili." A moment passed. She added, "Perhaps THEY only have THEIR enemy, the Abundance, on THEIR mind."

The Hunt?

Herta: "A tragic being, according to our record. They are bound by hatred and destiny, never to have even a moment's rest." You don't hear any hint of sympathy for said tragedy in her voice, "But that's life."

The Abundance?

Herta: "Yeah, Yaoshi, the Aeon of Abundance," Herta answers indifferently. "The kindest being in the whole universe, probably also a monster. THEY would heal everything THEY see, be it as small as an atom or as large as a star system. Perhaps THEY can solve your Stellaron problem for you." She adds jokingly.

(Unlocks Blessings of the Hunt)

(Approach Elite Enemy — Stormbringer (Bug))

Herta: This enemy looks really powerful. There seems to be something wrong with this enemy's data...

Herta: You can't apply real-world experience to this kind of enemy. Be careful.

(Immediately after defeating the boss)

(World completed!)

(Time to leave the Simulated Universe and get back to reality...)

Herta: Was World 2 difficult?

It was way too hard.

What happened to the numbers!?

Herta: Well, the Simulated Universe has an Ability Tree system. I'm debating whether to enable it... If I do, you'll gradually grow stronger in the simulation, but I can't say for sure whether that's a good thing. You try it out first.
