Youwu

Youwu (Chinese: 有无) is one of the seven Arbiter-Generals of the Xianzhou Alliance's Cloud Knights. Described as "mysterious and fair," they preside over the Xianzhou Xuling.^[3]

They are also an Emanator of The Hunt.^[1][2]

During her questioning of Jing Yuan regarding the Stellaron Crisis, Feixiao mentioned that if Youwu were sent in her stead, their conversation wouldn't have been so friendly.^[4]

Etymology

• Youwu's name 有无 means "existence and nothingness" in Chinese.
• About Youwu's title, The Patina Justice:
  • 尘冥 chénmíng means "outside the human world." In Chinese, 尘世 chénshì, literally "world of dust," refers to the world of mortals.
  • Patina is a green or brown film on the surface of bronze or similar metals, produced by oxidation over a long period or a gloss or sheen on a surface resulting from age or polishing. Figuratively, patina can refer to any fading, darkening, or other signs of age, which are felt to be natural or unavoidable (or both) or it could mean the impression or appearance of something that may have grown beautiful especially with age or use.
