The
Six Charioteers are six leading figures and ministers of each ship's Six Commissions in the
Xianzhou Alliance. Each Charioteer has an exclusive Chinese title. Note that the
Ten-Lords Commission is
not part of the Six Commissions, and thus not restricted by the Six Charioteers.

The Fanghu
On the Xianzhou Fanghu, the High Elder Glaciator Marum governs over all citizens, and the Six Charioteers and Six Commissions support the High Elder.[2]

The Luofu
The position of the Luofu Alchemy Commission's head had remained vacant for an extended period following the banishment of the previous head, Yunhua. During that time, Chief Alchemist Dan Shu served as the Alchemy Commission's de facto leader; after her exposure as the leader of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus and subsequent death, Yuluo was promoted to Chief Alchemist and assumed temporary leadership of the Commission. By the time of the Luminary Wardance Ceremony, Lingsha, Yunhua's apprentice, was recalled to serve as the Luofu's new Cauldron Master.[3] During the Ambrosial Arbor Crisis, Lord Zhu Lun, the head of the Luofu Artisanship Commission, was absent on a visit to the Xianzhou Zhuming, leaving the Commission to be overseen by Master Artisan Gongshu.[4]

The Yaoqing
The Arbiter-General of the Yaoqing is known to personally command the Verdant Knights, an elite unit of Cloud Knights mainly comprised of Foxians. Both General Feixiao and Yueyu have led the unit in battle.[7][8] Feixiao took up the mantle after Yueyu was killed in action in the Third Abundance War while defending the Cloudpeer Telescope and getting caught in blast radius of Lan's Lux Arrow.[9]

The Yuque
When General Yao Guang departed for Planarcadia on a mission, the successor she selected headed to the Yuque's Omniscience Sapientia Academe as a contingency alongside other potential successors picked by the Six Charioteers of the Yuque to train in divination arts, war strategies, and civil governance.[11] The previous Master Diviner, Jingtian, perished in the Third Abundance War after hailing Lan using the Cloudpeer Telescope, which only the Master Diviner was authorized to do, and was caught in blast radius of the Lux Arrow.[12] A new Master Diviner has since taken up the position.[13]

The Zhuming
All of the Zhuming's Arbiter-Generals hold the title of the Artisanship Commission's Furnace Master simultaneously, commanding troops in battle off the ship while forging items on the ship.[15] The current General of the Zhuming, Huaiyan, has retired from the position several times, but due to current changes in circumstances, Marshal Hua had Huaiyan return to duty.[16]

Etymology
- 六 liù means "six." 御 yù originally means "charioteer" in Classical Chinese, and can refer to a minister in the government.
