Lionel Thymefield

Lionel Thymefield is an NPC and the late father of Alice Thymefield.

Profile

Lionel was a kind man who cared for his daughter. When Alice was very young, Lionel and Alice's grandfather once took her to visit Porcelumex's laboratory in the Hollow. When they were about to leave, Alice realized that she had lost her left Sailor Boo hair clip, and Lionel promised to find it for her. Later that day, their family was informed that Lionel had crashed into a guardrail while driving back home. Alice blamed herself for this, believing that her father's fatigue and subsequent death was caused by the search for her lost hair clip.^[1]

In actuality, when Lionel returned to the laboratory to look for the hair clip, he discovered a young Yuzuha, who had fallen asleep in a vent. Lionel quickly deduced from her appearance that Porcelumex was conducting human experiments, and rushed to help Yuzuha escape through the sewers. Though Yuzuha survived, Lionel was not as fortunate, having been shot in the side by Porcelumex agents when they were initially discovered, and died from his wounds.^[2]
