Seed: Well, on my way to their base, I spotted a bunch of moving mini-cargo trucks. So I thought I'd take a closer look. Next thing I know, they were all stuck to Seed Sr., and we could barely walk~

Seed: The Exaltist guys were real enthusiastic! As soon as they saw Seed Sr. buried under all those mini cargo trucks, they started shooting from far away to help... Didn't really work, though.

Seed: But once I entered their base, the mini cargo trucks jumped off and started chasing them instead~ They got so busy running away, they forgot all about the hostage swap. So I just went ahead and rescued the civilians myself.

Seed: By the time I left with the hostages, there were only mini cargo trucks left at the base. Thinking back, it smelled a lot rustier than before~ Wonder where all those Exaltists ran off to?

(That's certainly a terrifying end for the bad guys...)

The [sic] Seed Sr.'s hatch slowly opens. You climb into the cockpit. Seed is already inside, waiting for you. It's even narrower than you imagined. Can this space really fit two people?
But then you notice the scent in the air... It feels soft and familiar, just like the floral fragrance in her hair...
To make talking easier, the two of you end up sharing the same pilot seat, your shoulders pressed close together. How strangely familiar...

Seed: Hehe~ Now it's even snugger. Feels nice and safe...

Seed: Look, see this button? If you press it, Seed Sr. fires all cannons. And that one over there? It turns off all sound, total silence inside.

Seed: And that one, I think that's the self-destruct button...? Proxy, your heart's racing again. Relax~ I've already disabled the detonation system.

Seed: Seed Sr. said it was a request from the higher-ups. Sure, he's an intelligent construct, but they also wanted him to be able to carry people, fight, and cover retreats... Well, if you ask me, I think being able to sing lullabies is way more useful.

Is it just you, or did Seed suddenly get flustered when she brought up the topic of giving flowers? She fidgets like a worm, twisting back and forth in the tight space. Her hair brushes against your face, and it tickles like crazy!
Eventually, she makes up her mind and pulls out a different kind of plant from a corner of the cockpit, four-leaf clovers.

Seed: Proxy... remember when I bought flowers for everyone on the team? Actually, I asked Miss Orchidea to help me pick something out for you too.

Seed's enigmatic smile returns as she steers Seed Sr. through New Eridu and into the Hollow.

You two talk about all sorts of things. You still don't always get what's in her head... But kind of like New Eridu itself, chaotic and mysterious, Seed has a strange way of drawing you in.
Before you know it, you've already spent the entire day together in the cockpit.
