Mayor Mayflower

Mayor Mayflower, also referred to as simply the Mayor, is a commission-exclusive NPC who appears throughout Phaethon's Story, albeit without a face. He is the current mayor of New Eridu City Administration and head of the Mayflower Family, as well as the benefactor and master of  Victoria Housekeeping Co..

Profile

As the current head of the city administration and the powerful Mayflower Family, the Mayor is at odds with both TOPS and the Exaltists. Being the close friend of Carole Arna, he believes that the ocular implants of the Phaethon siblings possess a great power that might affect all of New Eridu.^[1] He is also the master of Victoria Housekeeping Co., which operates as his private intelligence.

History

Before the fall of the old capital, he was a friend of Helios Academy senior researcher Carole Arna.^[1] He also contacted Von Lycaon when the latter was still a member of Mockingbird, offering him a deal in which Lycaon would work under him. Lycaon accepted after his fallout with Hugo Vlad and became a member of Victoria Housekeeping.

After the fall, he tasked Victoria Housekeeping to keep a close eye on Phaethon during their investigation on the Sacrifice that became the Unknown Corruption Complex and to aid them as necessary.^[2] Once he verified that the siblings were trustworthy and fighting for his same cause, the Mayor contacted them and shared with them the H.D.D. upgrade he could put together by studying the data Carole left behind, which allowed the siblings to regain their once-suppressed Ether aptitude and thus be able to enter Hollows in person.^[1]
