The Frostmoon Scion Series (unofficial name) is a 4-Star Weapon Series, historically wielded by members of the Frostmoon Scions when their worship shuddered under revelations of blasphemy.
This series does not have a shared ability bonus.

Lore
The Sacrificer’s Staff was the scepter wielded by Lovia, an orphan raised to priesthood when the Frost Moon’s favor waned. Once she clung to mercy, tending the poor and soothing quarrels like a saint, but her sister of purest blood was struck down before her eyes, and compassion shattered into zeal. Crowned in a faith she did not inherit, Lovia declared benevolence a fallacy and “correctness” the only path. With staff in hand she promised the suffering a false dawn, binding them to authority in place of hope, and marked dissenters as evils to be purged in blood.
Moonweaver’s Dawn belonged to Aila, the handmaiden raised beneath the Archpriestess’s silver creed. She obeyed every gentle-voiced command, severing threads and silencing voices in the dark, believing such cruelties purified the blood of the north. For years her silence was mistaken for consent, and so the Archpriestess trusted her as the vessel of an heir to Elysium. When the fugitive Solovei sought sanctuary, Aila was told to strike him from behind. Instead, she turned her blade upon her grandmother, and the matriarch’s false holiness ended in crimson rather than silver. Thus the sword became a traitor’s witness, marking the fall of the Frost Moon’s last Archpriestess and the end of her woven lies.
Dawning Frost is associated with a Maiden who fled Nod-Krai, vowing her child would never inherit its cursed paradise. Beneath the auroras she dreamed of civilizations rising and falling in endless ruin, each paradise collapsing beneath greed, blood, and silence while the gods looked on. Carrying Avrelian within her, she clung to the whisper of a voice promising a world without kings, a boundless peace born of compassion. But the vision always shattered before its end, and waking to the frost-lit dawn, she could only pray that her heir would know a life untouched by the lies of the moon.
Trivia
- The repeated imagery of silver threads being spun and severed may be inspired by the Norns of Norse mythology, female deities who weave and cut the threads of fate. Some legendary sagas portray them instead as witches and shamans, and sometimes their will is characterized as selfish, cruel, or even evil, such as in the 13th century Hervarar saga ok Heiðreks.
- Similar imagery is also found in Slavic tradition, where the Rozhanitsy and Sudjenitsy were believed to spin, measure, and cut the threads of human destiny, decreeing the fate of children at birth.
- The cycle of civilizations rising and falling described in Dawning Frost may be inspired by the Norse concept of Ragnarök. In the poem Völuspá, a seeress foretells the creation, downfall, and renewal of the cosmos, a pattern similar to the Holy Lady's premonitions of endless ruin and fragile paradises.
