Shcheglov (Russian: Щеглов Shcheglov) is an open-world NPC located in Snezhnaya. He can be found on board of a train that can be summoned in Central Station, Svetloledovka, Sretomorozsk and Rankova Zorya.

- Shcheglov: Heh... So this consist we're on today... the cars are third-series vintage...
"Third-series"? You mean there's a difference?
- Shcheglov: Of course, my friend. Although the consists in Snezhnaya look identical at first glance, you can still spot minor variations between the various series if you look closely.
- Shcheglov: This consist is from the third production series... You can tell because when we are underway, the sound of the wheel tires is a little lighter.
- You must like trains a lot.
- Shcheglov: Yeah. Don't you think they're magnificent? We're talking about trackage stretching across the frozen tundra, through territory even the fae look askance at, all built by a joint human-fae effort. Truly incredible, isn't it?
- Shcheglov: Besides, it is said that the entire railway operation, from the earliest motive power to the current permanent way infrastructure, has been human-led and driven.
- Shcheglov: They say the earliest motive power designs came from a female official in the Belyi Tsar's court, though her name is lost to history. The permanent way, however, was engineered by three masters from the Adventurers' Guild.
- Shcheglov: To appreciate just how great this achievement is, you have to remember that human lifespans are a mere fraction of the fae. Yet, they have managed to engineer all these that would endure long after they are gone.
