Volkodlak

Volkodlak (Russian: Волкодлак) are one of the six common types of Snowland Fae.[1]
Overview
Like other Snowland Fae, the Volkodlak were created by the Hyperboreans as part of their effort to create a race that could surpass humans.[2] They were historically ruled by a King.[3]
Story
Around 3,000 years ago, the Volkodlak were organized under a confederation known as the Miscislavli Alliance lead by King Miscislav. The Vila were vassals of Miscislav, to whom they paid tithes of grain, gold, and slaves. The Water Imps, under Vodyanoy, also served as members of this alliance.[3]
When the Belyi Tsar began his campaign to unify the Snowland Fae, the Vila were among the first to follow him. After their first Grand Duchess, Vaselisa Strivozha, was single-handedly defeated by the Tsar,[4] he asked them to cease their tributes to the Volkodlak. At his request, they denounced Miscislav and submitted willingly to the Pale Star Court.[3][5]
