Sousi

Sousi is a quest-exclusive NPC who appears in the Archon Quest Song of the Welkin Moon: Act II - Elegy of Dust and Lamplight.

Profile

Sousi was a Sergeant Major in the Lightkeepers and was effectively Flins' superior. He and his subordinates oversaw a large area of Nod-Krai, dealing with Wild Hunt incursions that pop up in the land. At some point in his service, his right arm was amputated and replaced by a sophisticated mechanical arm that was personally designed by Aino, including the internal parts. Hintsa was responsible for providing maintenance, though he may have been the one to craft the arm from Aino's blueprints.

During the events of the Archon Quest Elegy of Dust and Lamplight, Sousi was alerted to a Wild Hunt incursion at Starsand Shoal and met with the Traveler, Aino and Ineffa. There, he helped the Traveler and Paimon recalibrate the Boom and Blast Kuuvahki Cannon before making preparations to deploy his forces to deal with incursions that the cannon could not cover. Half a day after this, Sousi was found dead in the group's Nasha Town office, with a witness seeing Flins as the only person to enter and leave around that time. Not believing that Flins would do such an act, as he had been heading to headquarters to report the new threat, the Traveler eventually brought Flins to the crime scene, where they discovered that his mechanical arm was malfunctioning. A quick talk with Hintsa made them realize that the true mastermind had already killed Sousi before he arrived in Nasha Town and taken on his form when the cannon was being fixed, who then took Flins' form to avoid suspicion.
