Venipi

Last updated 2026-08-02

Venipi is an open-world NPC located in the Desert Pavilion, Temple of Space after finishing the World Quest Unofficial Chronicle of the Desert Pavilion in Series A Long Day in the Mountains: Chapter 1 - Paradise.

Location

Profile

Venipi is a laborer from Sumeru and one of the “Uplifted,” people chosen to be preserved as living memories in the Temple of Space. He lived during the reign of King Deshret and worked as an apprentice on the Mausoleum of King Deshret, hauling stone.[1][2] During construction, workers received two large mugs of beer each day.[2][3]

While traveling through the desert, he was suddenly abducted and cast into the Apathic Interval, where he remained for less than a hundred years before reaching the Temple of Space, settling in the Desert Pavilion.[2]

After Asmoday, the temple’s creator, disappeared, the other Shades tasked him with recreating a desert-style complex from memory, as none had been brought to the temple. Venipi contributed patterns and motifs from King Deshret’s era, while a fellow inhabitant, Vitruvius, designed the layout and pathways, resulting in the present-day Desert Pavilion.[2]

Upon learning of King Deshret’s fall from Kshama, Venipi refused to accept it and accused her of lying.[2]

Appearance

Venipi is a tall, tanned man with long, side-parted brown hair, brown eyes, and glasses. He wears a green and brown tunic with gold detailing, green sandals, and a braided bracelet on his left wrist.
